I was hoping for Grace Valentine, but Minnerva probably makes more sense.
Minerva is both an anti-hero and villain. I want to see her in Spider-Man's world as well because she might have ties to Peter Parker, even if he doesn't know that yet....
First really good look at CM’s final Endgame suit I’ve seen. LOVE it, definitely my favorite!
Clearer still from Endgame. Carol looking very linebacker (or would she be a quarterback)what with the shoulder padding and the Infinity Gauntlet tucked like a football...

I'm here to say it: I prefer the End Game suit the more and more I see it. <gasp>

I disagree with the article writer’s belief that the Starforce School deleted scene contributed nothing important to the plot. My memory may need jogging but this is the only explicit introduction of the idea that “Vers” powers were implanted by the Keee Supreme Intelligence. Supremor later days “what was given can be taken away” but there was no in-movie antecedent to that statement, was there?
The trailer had a version of the first Vers/Intelligence encounter where the origin describes Carol being found and “made stronger” by the Kree after the Skrull attack, but the scene was different in the theatrical release.

I think they were referring to the blood transfusion when they say they gave her the powers. I also think that the chip was more like a metaphor with her not reaching her potential because of her emotions than the Krees using it to inhibit her powers.

Everything in this scene was either stated directly or implied in other scenes. This explains it clearer and better conveys the Kree's opinion on the Skrulls, but I would have to imagine, if a final cut of the movie had this scene, it would have to cut something elsewhere.

What I most like about it is that the lines on her chest connect all the way onto her shoulders, like it is in the comics. I didn't realize that was missing on the other until I saw the Endgame one.

The deleted scene puts the chip as the source of the Kree-given power endowment.

Or at least what Carol thinks is the source.

I can see why this got deleted, but I can see why it was considered. Captain Marvel did more than any other movie to build the story of the Kree. I think there's plenty more to work with. Hopefully, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 picks up on some of it.
