This was just a rollercoaster. There were points when i felt it was going somewhere and i started to get kind of excited but as the facts came out and the "Father's" started being shouted i just found myself shaking my head. I don't know where the story is going but so far i don't feel it's a good look for Thor.
I agree with you. I mean when Odin said about about Mjolnir being so far away then a couple panels later… I shook my head at that too.
I still think that Thor needs to be less whiney about things. The GoH was definitely right about the speeches though. Hopefully, we’ll see less of that going forward.

OK, I actually like where this story is going now and like that revelation at the end.

Did they actually have the villain call Jane a "phase" :p?

Is the villain even a villain? Like girl, state your business or get off the pot. All that "But what was done to me" was getting tired. But the story has so much potential yet at the same time could go so left. And she sure did. Maybe if she wasn't so emotionally fragile and moody people would stop trying to throw her into the sun.
-
With all that carrying on today she need to take her ass back to the sun. which made me wonder why she mad at Thor when he wasn't the one to throw her there, go be mad somewhere else.
I do want to see where this is going and hope Cates sticks the landing this time.

I think that anger is from the villain that filtered into Mjolnir.

Seems like it could be a mix of at least the storm/how things played out when Jane did what she did.
Could be a little bit of the spell placed on the hammer as well.

I am so done with Mjolnir.

Late to the game but my usual: Simonson battle armor corner box.

Well, crap. I found a great image of the cover to Thor #378, sans logo and with the Steve Oliffe recolor many years ago, but can't remember where it was from.
So....

[spoil]uh, okay. Thor is unworthy. Again. He sucks. Again. Odin sucks worse. Again. Rise. Repeat. Oh and Donald Blake is a total murdering bastard now. Have fun, kids.
Anything actually heroic and fun to look forward to now?[/spoil]

I don't think this arc is any good. I'm not impressed with the Cerebro/Mjolnir . This trend of making the main character whiney in books needs to stop. I'm particularly impressed by the big reveal either.

Thor #22 preview is up.
I ilke Klein’s art in general, but he does make Thor look like a scruffy, homeless man at times.
