WOMEN OF MARVEL: Appreciation for all the heroines in comics (and behind the scenes)
I think we need a thread where we can discuss Marvel’s numerous (and AMAZING) female characters (and the various artist, writers, editors and inkers behind the scenes) in a safe environment -- so to be clear [U][B]this is an APPRECIATION thread, if you are not appreciating then this is not the place for you[/B][/U]. I'll try and keep it updated as best I can, with updates on all new female solo series, female lead comics, female heavy teams and comics writer and illustrated by women. I'll also add links to the appreciation threads of all the amazing Marvel women.
As with nearly all my threads, I've put a poll. HUGE apologies if your favourite was not in there, I'm limited to 15; so had to make a guess which 15 deserved their spot. I tried to pick across a broad spectrum, from appearances outside of comics, iconic status, major importance to 616, and lead solo females. If I had more room, I'd have added Arana, X-23 and Monica Rambeau... but I couldn't find room (apologies). Also... I discounted Mary Jane Watson (mostly because she's not really a "superhero").
