I don't see how Vision and Photon would be redundant considering Thor and Carol effectively have a similar power set. In fact, I'd rather see two intangible people than another vague gymnast or spy with no powers but a leather suit. Plus she also turned semi-visible there. The next step is invisible!
Seriously, though, I agree with you about Monica's powers. I don't think they'll nerf her. I mean, what reason would there be for that. To prop up Carol? She's already really powerful.
I wasn't really implying that I thought her intangibility would be redundant (I don't think it is at all) I was more describing what Marvel's hypothetical reasoning would have been to motivate such a decision and pointing out that they gave her, her full powers anyway. Like, logically if they were going with a powered down version of the character, her light form would be the first to go but Monica's still out here doing the laser beam shuffle.
God that seventies look was everything....
I figured they'd go with the scaled back version of Monica's powers from the one-shot for TV. Captain Marvel and Scarlet Witch will get to be massively powerful, either on the same level or greater than their comic book versions. Monica, on the other hand, will get reduced in power, or they'll introduce some other limiting plot device. Marvel.
We'll have to see. She just got her powers and currently has no control of them, or any idea of what she can do or not do. I'm assuming by the time we will get to CM2, she will be more experienced and we will have a better idea of what she is capable of.
Like the comics, power level and display is going to vary depending on the creative team. Strange was a bumbling sorcerer through most of his film, but the Russos had him as a beast in IW/Endgame. Even Wanda herself, had decent ability at the start, until headway into phase 3 and now where she has become massively powerful. Hopefully Monica will see the same type of progression.
But white Latinos are white then, aren't they? Why do they need it? There isn't that many biracial or triracial Latinos in Marvel I can think of.
Well there is bi-racial white latino in marvel and that spiderman 2099.
He is bi-racial but still white.
There are a number bi racial poc latino in marvel like sam(nova),white tigers, miles, egg etc..
More then you think.
In marvel or dc there is no such thing as triracial.
Like i said in comics,comicbook movies,shows,games etc.. it's keep simple as possible.(different universes,rules,laws,history etc..)

Sorry, I didn't mean to come off like that. I see what you're saying.
Honestly, I can't stand old fashion. It seems so stupid to me.
I think she is very pro superhero plus what happen to her in the hex with wanda.
The very pro superhero stuff comes from when she was little girl and knowing carol.
I don't think she is as extreme as kamala khan but that's how her character was set up in the mcu,so it's understandable.
If you talking about most in real life am not sure but in comics? no.
Aren't most black Latinos actually mixed anyway?
Getting back to this and i think misunderstood this.
In real life most black latinos are not mixed(be-racial).
Now do most have some other form of race admixture(meaning not mixed/bi-racial)?
Like i said it's not clear to me if it's a majority or not in real life or our earth/universe but in comics clearly no.

Puerto Ricans have indigenous (Taino), white (Spanish) and black (West African) ancestry from what I've heard. They're a very mixed people.

But why would it be different in comics?

In wandavision the kids will come back and be young avengers.
Vision most likely will be shown in armour wars or iron-heart.
Monica in captain marvel 2,maybe 3 and most likely sercet invasion.
She will in other mcu movies as well, so her future in the mcu looks really bright.
I think she may be in team movie or may get a solo show down the road.

I hope she gets more appearances. She could appear in Secret Invasion.
