DCBS offers weekly or monthly shipping a $7.50 per shipment.
I would be most cost effective to order all at once and pay the flat rate, and then select the single (monthly) shipping option. You'll pay a grand total up front, and receive the books as they become available.
Thanks for the reply. So i placed my order as one large one, 6 omnibus. Right now they have the single shipping charge. Do they bill my card another $7.50 each time a box goes out for those few months, or does that $7.50 cover all the separate deliveries since it's on one order? Sorry if you answered this and I didn't grasp what you were saying.
Also- the killing off of characters- if one of your loved ones died, and the technology was there to clone/implant memories, you'd still mourn for your loved one. That person would still be dead- I don't get how the characters could ever be so blase about it.
This is my big issue with it as well. They may be replacing the dead characters with exact duplicates, but it's not them. The originals are dead. Dead and gone.
Ans how come they've survived everything that can be thrown at them for 60 years - but now that they can conveniently be brought back, they just so happen to die on a string?

I agree with the clone/duplicate issue. Whenever we see clones of secondary characters that get killed off, no one really cares or they are treated as collateral damage. But when someone like Black Widow is "cloned" back, we're expected to (in time) treat her as the real McCoy.

I do like to see the licensed material be collected. It gives me hope I'll get an Indiana Jones omnibus soon. It looks like there's enough material left for a volume 4. Assuming the Predator rights are straightened out, there should be 2 volumes of Predator and 2 volumes of Alien v Predator.
I do. You miss the oversized art but other than that, you still get the premium build and paper that you got on the older Marvel OHC/Omnis, and the restoration is usually top notch.
Thanks. I ordered the DD MMW that just released. Excited to learn it has the original colors as opposed to the omnibus. That really is top notch.

Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
Now to get the Marc Spector: Moon Knight series, in two volumes please Marvel, and that will make for a nice MK run up through 2010!!
-
Do you need the first two MK omnis to read the Huston, Benson and Hurwitz omni?
-
I wonder if they'll do reprints of the Moon Knight by Bendis & Maleev and Moon Knight by Lemire & Smallwood OSHCs. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Complete Collection TPB for Moon Knight: Legacy either.

If they're all on one order, you'll be charged once at check out. I do all of my monthly floppies thru DCBS, so I get one big box every 4 weeks; anything book/comic released in the period (even if it's on an older order) ships out together with one single $7.50 charge.
Hope this makes sense and I'm not creating more confusion... lol ;)
Do you need the first two MK omnis to read the Huston, Benson and Hurwitz omni?
The Huston/Benson/Hurwitz run was the first time I'd read an MK book, and I loved it. I really liked how Civil War got incorporated. I'd had a working knowledge of MK though since Huston uses old enemies and supporting cast, so it's best to kinda know in general what's come before. It's like if you read a Wolverine story but didn't know who Sabretooth was. You could still enjoy it but if you knew their character history you'd be into it more.
I still haven't read the original Moench run, though I do have that first omni. I'll be getting these two new ones for sure.
