I'm curious who would make a good Catwoman actress?

Too old now but Charlize Theron was the most qualified person to play the role a decade ago.

Jodie Comer

Isn't Zoe Kravitz be portraying Catwoman for the upcoming film?
I would have chosen either Rooney Mara or Morena Baccarin but they are like in their late 30s. Both have played bad girl roles before.
That Faces of Evil cover above might be the best one DC ever did with Catwoman solo. It has everything and doesn't objectify her.
Wouldn't Bendis on a Catwoman solo be a no brainer? Tough heroine (like Jessica Jones or Spider-Woman) and crime genre (Jinx,Daredevil) are his strong suits, no? It could rival what Brubaker has done and show Bendis still has what it takes
It's appropriate that Anne Hathaway played both roles then.
Looks like Hathaway agrees with me, too (@3:47):

Eva Green a decade ago
She is clearly black. We've seen what the other white characters look like and they do not resemble Selina in the slightest.
She looks multiracial to me just like Eartha Kitt, Halle Berry, and Zoe Kravitz
The one drop rule is B.S.
I am multiracial and I hate it.
I don't know why so many African Americans and European Americans embrace the one drop rule and label anybody with African American as black.
Heck...also....Africa is far more diverse with thousands of ethnic groups.
They are not some united black race. They are people with differing skin colors and facial features.
There are Melanesians that look like SubSaharan Africans, but Europeans are more related to SubSaharan Africans than Melanesians are.
The one drop rule is a reminder of how if you're part non-white, you're not good enough to be treated as equal person and not good enough to mix with the white race.
Read up on the racial integration laws back in 1690s Virginia where it all started.
That's what the one drop rule was about.
It was to prevent from mixing the races and to keep the white race pure
Most African Americans are mixed with European, and it is mostly through European American masters (and/or male family members),overseers raping their female African American slaves.
African women were also raped on the slave ships before being brought into the Americas.
My paternal grandmother's maternal grandfather was born from an English-Cajun man having sexual relations with an African American woman who was a slave in Lafourche Parish at the time
That is why I get a lot of paternal "white" matches with Acadian ancestry.
Race is actually a social construct unless you believe that race hierarchy B.S. that 1800s American Dr. Samuel Morton came up with Caucasoid at the top and Negroid at the bottom based on craniometry which involve skull measurements
The difference between the so-called races is well less than 1 percent

Eh, Bendis's Alias is overrated and not really good as Brubaker in general.

I like his DD a lot
I like his DD a lot
His DD and Ult Spidey are actually great but most of the time he likes to write his own continuity of comics. Alias was a fine comic but I haven't liked as much as anything Brubaker did.
For some weird reason due to how often she does work with Arkham villains, I thought she herself was an Arkham case. Has she ever gone to Arkham?
If I'm not wrong it happened during the first half of the King's run.
