That depends on how this series ends.
I'm actually secretly hoping it all ends with both teams having s'mores by a fire on Krakoa, laughing it up while everyone else does the electric slide.
My problem with this mini is that yes, the conflict feels forced, the X-men and the FF to a point, are being written oc to develop a conflict that feels forced, I hope I am wrong and that there´s a reason for this but really this feels no different that the Inhuman vs X-men story where the narrative is too busy making the X-men the villains to care if the story makes sense for their characters or not.
It feels forced, yes, but as a consequence of Krakoans' attitude towards humans, X-men's dealing with the FF feels rather logical…
Yes, they were friends in the past but things have changed, Xavier said so. What the FF are supposed to understand when they hear Krakoans' rhetoric?
So the X-Men send psychopaths to steal from the FF and somehow it's the FF's fault for not trusting them?
I swear the X-Men could eat a baby and you people would find a way to justify it and make it someone else's fault.
Well, depending on the context...
So the X-Men send psychopaths to steal from the FF and somehow it's the FF's fault for not trusting them?
I swear the X-Men could eat a baby and you people would find a way to justify it and make it someone else's fault.
Again, it was Damage Control. Which has had villainous undertones to it in the past (Civil War and probably handing stuff to ORCHIS).
They were stealing from Damage Control, who got control of their patents and such. Shame on Richards and Stark on not taking precautions with their tech, actually.
About the condescending part, you can read it however you want but he was being nice. Otherwise he'd taken Creed.
Yup. The Creed thing was settled and then Sue asks "What are all of you thinking?". That sounds pretty condescending to me.
We're thinking we don't want to die anymore.

And for the tenth time they weren't stealing from the FF they were stealing from Damage Control not sure why you keep thinking that.
The decision to send Sabertooth an co on said mission was shortsighted af (a decision that hot humans killed and for which Sabertooth was rightfully punished by a mutant council of his peers), I have no problem admitting that what you seem to have trouble grasping is that the X-men were under no legal obligation to tell the FF about their top secret mission however the FF were under legal obligation to hand over Sabertooth to which they refused.
Yes so it's FF's fault for not handing over the dangerous murderer who minutes earlier killed at least a dozen people
We know that but Bobby doesn't know that. And let's be real here, Bobby is probably the last X-Man to do something so brutal but he was in painful mourning. I don't like the extreme violence either but I understand what happens when all you see is red. This is the same group allied with someone shouting "Death To Gene Junk! For Verendi!" while throwing a grenade. Had Bishop not intercepted it, the ship would have sunk.
he wsa prejudiced against them, They are douchebags but did nothing to Kitty, h ejust assumed dirty humans mercs = murderers
he is a omega mutant, h ehas to control better his powers. He was violent and mean
Yes so it's FF's fault for not handing over the dangerous murderer who minutes earlier killed at least a dozen people
But they were able to take him after all.

But they were paid by Verendi to murder. So I think they are murderers.
Yes so it's FF's fault for not handing over the dangerous murderer who minutes earlier killed at least a dozen people
*Facepalm* why do you keep trying to turn this into a blame game. Everyone was well within their rights to act the way they did especially given the information available to the characters at the time.
Do I think Reed should have trusted Cyclops to take care of Sabertooth. Absolutely.
That scene was their to highlight the inherent distrust that the FF have towards the X-Men in this new status quo which also mirrors what some readers feel/felt. Hopefully as this mini continues that changes a bit.
Oh I definitely agree and I like how Duggan wanted to make Bobby's actions very questionable to the readers. But spirit was saying Bobby should have been more like Bishop but he was under attack when Bobby arrived. So Bobby threw a fit lol
Bishop wasn't ok with hurting and murdering them. He still doesn't know who murdered Kitty and he gonna get some proof is someone from Krakoa.
Yeah they were under attack but Bob could do better than dismembering and causing frostbite that is permanent

Really? Really?

Krakoan rhetoric that only makes sense if we read just the mini how´s that the same Scott who had dinner with his father makes a difference between Val and Franklin because one is human and the other isn´t? family is not the same thing as diplomacy and security and Xavier himself who yes, has been acting strange, has never said no, you can´t bring your human family here, they are banned, that´s completely untrue and I find it forced that the writer HAS to write the X-men this way to force a conflict when there has never been one over franklin, imo it would have been a lot more natural if the X-men talked about having to fight a sentinel made from Reeds and Tony technology and then talk about the matter of Franklin in the conversation after Scott,Sue and Reed last talk, that would have not been forced and it would make sense to both teams story.
They have never been friends but they also had not been really foes and this mini is just despicting the X-men as if they were the new FF foes of the week.

I agree that he could have done better as it's not very like Bobby to do that. But I also understand the blind rage he was feeling. Sue understands it too...
