Honestly surprised their doing that run of X-Factor on Omnibus - of course I'll be getting it, just surprising is all.
Time to sell my collected editions of it, I suppose.
Actually, now that I think about it... the two-volume "complete" collection I have goes up to issue 32 (the omni goes to 39), so I'm not sure if the upgrade will be worth just 7 issues.

Yes but if/when they do the 3rd omni, you'll buy that and be stuck with these 7 orphan issues. And by that time, this v2 will be OOP. I don't think they're ever going to finish the series in complete collections.
Let the FOMO take over haha

Super pumped for this too. :D Wonder what we'll get for cover options? One of the Kuberts was doing the art in that era, right?

I think the majority of these issues were still Silvestri; at least in the ongoing, not too sure about all the one-shots, etc.
But yes, Adam Kubert eventually stepped in for a long run on pencils.

I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on PAD's vol. 1; I have all of that material 2-3 times over between singles, trades, etc. But there's no way I'm skipping out on this one.
It'll be a good lesson in tempering my ocd to see vol. 2 (and presumably 3) sitting there without a 1. :p

I am going to do the same thing. Also going to weirdly have two Flash vol 3 Geoff Johns omnibus with completely different content.

Oh man, always loved that Jim Lee cover - and the story as well. I was really into Omega Red as a kid.
-
I'd have to go Regular Cover for the Wolverine vol.3 as well.
Jim Lee draws most things great but that is an X-Men cover for a Wolverine book. My OCD doesn't sit well with that.
