So Bendis "randomly" tweeted out this a few days ago. I say "randomly" because it's very clearly not random.
Given the nature of the gif, I think it's becoming fairly clear that there's less ambiguity to the solicits.

He also posted this around the time the solicits went live.

Every time I see Tim Drake now, I'm going to think of this from now on:

This is all VERY well said, and is a pretty good breakdown of the respective differentiations! I don't think he'd say "beats me," though. It's just complicated. There's who he "is" in his own mind first, and then parts of himself that he's grown into over time. I think that's how he'd answer - and that answer would have various differences depending on which version you ask (via your descriptions above).

Yeah! That was me trying to tell a joke.i will see myself out.
i see it as a game between lois and clark where lois has to guess who he really is. Also, love her or hate her lois has become very important to the mythos. She was the first one to call clark or kal el "superman" in modern tales now and start the people's movement towards it. So, lois is connected to the very idea of "superman" ,now. Even if she is not Clark's love interest. She is the second most important character. Should be treated as such in my opinion.
I'd have to agree. That thinking would maybe work for Pre-Crisis Superman on some level, but not modern era. "Metropolis Clark" may not be who he is (to borrow from SR a bit), but in his mind he's still Clark Kent.
That actualy happened in pre-crisis, I somewhat remember some story where Clark was seeing some experiment with special glasses, and then the glasses he had fell off, so he had to pretend to be blind since the experiment could do that, after a while he got sick of everyone treating him like he needed constant help and moved away from Metropolis to start some new life working in a circus I think.
I don't remember what happened afterwards, but that story being silver age, I can bet with little fear that he went back to being Clark for convoluted reasons in the same issue lol.
That being said, the possibility of Supes' secret identity being outed could be a dumb solicit bait, and the story itself won't have anything like it, then again, if his secret identity is revealed, I guess it'd be Truth 2: Electric Bugaloo :p
Now I'm imagining that whenever Supes' secret identity is revealed, we'll have Mxyzptlk coming from the 5th dimension and helping re-stabilish it :p

Oh! lol, my bad!
For the rest, I definitely agree - Lois is vital, no matter what her role.

HA! That's not surprising that such a story exists - it's *very* Silver Age. And yeah, I'd take that bet if I were you, too. LOL!

Or, given as a "Wheel of Fortune" answer:
Tim Drake Mallard
You're welcome. ;) lol

Just occurred to me that Lois will officially be FIRST LADY OF EARTH and that's just a cool ass thought, man.
It also just occurred to me that Clark lets the cat out of the bag in issue 18 of Superman, and somewhere between 17 and issue 21 (according to the trade that inadvertently broke the President Superman news), Clark is appointed/elected president of Earth, so is the reveal in prep for the position on Clark's part? Or is it unrelated, but becomes serendipitous?
Hmmm, I wonder if it had to do with Clark's snap choice of speaking for Earth at the formation of the UP? That moment did have quite a bit of focus on it with the art.
And where does Lex's gift to Lois fit in? Man, the mysteries of this era haha
Supposedly it's an actual thing DC is planning late into next year. Reboot, maybe?
One can only hope.
Now we're getting word DDC isn't canon anymore either.
I hope that’s the case. I mean, what WAS the point of Doomsday Clock?
