Strife appears in the next Harley Quinn episode, sporting her Chiang look.

SPOILERS:
So, I watched the latest episode of Harley Quinn last night and Eris/Strife(a god) gets taken out by Harley and her baseball bat. Never let anyone say that Cheetah isn't a credible threat again. Wonder Woman's rogues often times get trashed due to the writer not doing the proper research on her villains otherwise there is no way an ordinary human could take down a god with just a regular baseball bat. Rant over.

lol, I take back what I said about WW villains having a good showing in this show.

I'll admit, up until this episode, they did. Dr. Psycho and the Queen of Fables have both been presented as credible threats to WW or the Justice League. It would be nice if the show did the same for Cheetah, Giganta, Dr. Poison, etc.

WW’s villains and Themyscira popping up in the Harley show just kind of make me annoyed Harley Quinn got an animated series before Wonder Woman did.

I do hope we see more of Cheetah. I thought the sorta-running gag of her being the lone female villain on the Legion of Doom was pretty funny. Especially Lex Luthor's inability to remember her name.
I haven't seen the Strife episode yet (I'm on ep 8, so it's coming). But I don't really have strong opinions on her being defeated by Harley. It's still cool that she even appeared at all. I'm more accepting of lesser used villains being used in that way.

Just watched the Harley episode and I have to say... it wasn't that bad. Yes, Harley beats Eris with her bat (but is still conscious as she's last seen thrashing about when she's thrown off the balcony by Ivy's childhood friend Jennifer. And let's be honest, if we want characters to be taken seriously we shouldn't be watching Harley Quinn, a series that mocks everyone.
I'd say Strife's first animated showing went quite well.

It was pretty weird watching the "greatest warriors in DC" get their collective assed kicked by a drunk soccer mom named Jennifer. But, it's Harley Quinn the show isn't about accurate portrayals of villains or their powers. Honestly the episode as a concept is something I wished happened in the books albeit with Diana and not Quinn as the lead. Eris turning Paradise Island into a corporate spa retreat and Diana needing to stop that from happening is right up a comic writers alley.
-
Yeah, I would say not to take the Harley Quinn portrayals/powers too seriously as the show doesn't. It's better than Cheetah falling for Batman in the DCAU and only surviving due to an animation error. (My favorite Bat villain is Penguin, and he was offed by Harley in the show). I'm just happy to see some of Diana's rogues appear...I hope we get more of them as maybe this MIGHT be the springboard to see more than the Super Friends duo of Cheetah and Giganta to appear in other media more.

I have to say that the scheme itself is a very solid comic book plot. Is it a little silly compared to being another world ending threat? YES. However, I love when things like this happen every once in a while.

Also... Ares was a stripper! I'm not sure if that was meant to be the "real" Ares or if it was some jabronie dressed as him (like real life strippers dress as cops, fire fighters, etc.), but it was cute nonetheless.
-
You know...the fact the Harley Quinn cartoon brought up a glass ceiling in the world of super villainy, you would think that Villainy Inc. would be something they'd look into.
-
Hey, it looks like Dr. Psycho is the main villain for season 2 of Harley Quinn, so that's not bad.
-
Small nod to Veronica Cale on today's episode of Stargirl on DC Universe. The villains were plotting to hack Empire Industries (Cale's company).

Cheetah is going to be making an appearance in the DC Showcase Batman: Death in the Family animated film.
She appears at 1:19, but it looks like it's going to be about par for the course for her making an appearance in something Batman related.

Oh god, she's about to get her movie debut, and they keep giving her the most embarrassing appearances in animation she ever had.
-
Is she about to get sniped by goddamned Hush after getting arrested by the GCPD (?!).
I don't need to see the rest of it, this movie blows.
