I really enjoyed--and continue to enjoy--Gideon Falls.
But it's interesting you mention Die. My buddy down in Los Angeles has mentioned the book several times. Everybody at his shop is all a-twitter over it, with rumors flying that it's already been optioned or whatnot before the first issue has even hit the stands.

Monstress is definitely up there, also the second storyarc of Black Magick was very good, Snotgirl was fun as all hell, but probably my #1 Image book at the moment is Seven to fucking Eternity. Tremendous comic.
-
I've liked The Weather Man. It's pretty over the top, which I dig.
-
Die #1 is one of my favourite comics of the year, but as it’s only one issue I’ll exclude it from this selection.
I have to give a massive shout out to Kill Or Be Killed, Gideon Falls, Man-Eaters and The Wicked + The Divine for all being absolutely fantastic!! But my number one has to be Infidel!!

Maybe Days of Hate is a better choice for me. Just on the art alone.
-
Gideon Fall; also Stray Bullets is still going strong.Hated that banana issue, though.
-
also , Criminal, via MY HEROES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN JUNKIES.. .. captions entirely justified.
-
Seven to Eternity
Honorable Mention: Oblivion Song
-
For me, it's a tie between Monstress and Sleepless.
Both are great series; just in different genres.
-
Kill or Be Killed followed by East of West.
-
Stray Bullets
Runners-up: Outpost Zero, East of West, The Dead Hand, Crude, Kill or Be Killed, Gideon Falls, Descender, Southern Bastards, East of West, Birthright.
-
Gideon Falls has been fantastic.

Paper Girls is the one that comes to mind. I've tried plenty of new Image titles, and have dropped many in the past year but Paper Girls is something I'm still loving in TPB.
Die #1 is probably the best first issues I've read in years, but considering it's only been one issue I'm not going to count it until next year.
