Saying this as an X-23 fan, I don't think she's there YET. While you can say "The girl from Logan" and people will be, "Ooooooh yeah!" she's still not one that casual audiences would be able to name the way that the O5+ are.
She was in X-Men evolution and had a significant role with Logan, in Wolverine and the X-Men she appears too and she was a playable character in Marvel vs Capcom 3 alongside Wolverine, Storm, Magneto, Phoenix and Deadpool. On top of that she is a "Wolverine related Character" which is always going to push your popularity. I would say that she is more popular than Angel. The movie has just cemented that.
I think a more interesting question would be why do you like these characters. Because I swear, for most of the characters mentioned here, I can't figure out the answer. It feels like people just like big multi-colored hair and cool powers, meh.
Like who?
If you wanna flex your superiority, flex it! Most characters listed have 100s of issues under their belt.

I like Madrox and ForgetMeNot for similar reasons. I can't remember if it was in the Madrox mini or at the start of X-Factor's ongoing, but his line about how being able to explore any opportunity kept him from fully committing to any struck a chord with me, and he's been a favorite ever since.
ForgetMeNot hits that same chord because his power prevents anything he does from being recognized; he could literally do anything and face no ramifications from his actions. Yet despite all this, he's constantly shown to be doing good, selfless work whenever he does show up.

I'm sure this wouldn't count in proper X-circles, but the OG New Mutants. They aren't known at all by the masses and even if the movie did well they still aren't exposed to Karma, Warlock, Cypher.
But within this message board I'd say the Bendis era kids of Triage, Tempus, Hijack, Goldballs, Bejamin Deeds, and the Cuckoos.

Warpath
Forge
Sage
Bishop
Cannonball

Johnny Gallo, Ricochet. Yum yum.

ForgetMeNot needs to pair up with that kid from Spurrier's run whose mutant power is taking credit for things.
-Pav, who loved Si's mutant creations...
