So exciting! And Patridge really looks like a better artist than I expected

There's a scene from a comic where a woman comes to Artemis needing help to rescue her daughter and Artemis tells her it is her fault for not protecting her.
Anyone remember what issue this was from or does it just not exist?

I don't know if you're talking about the same scene, but in Messner-Loebs Wonder Woman #95 she asks to a woman why she didn't hit her husband back, in which that woman tells her she couldn't because her children would die of hungry and then Artemis says to her: "Good, better them die of hunger than have a mother who is parasite and coward" or something like that.
And someone says "Who is she? Ilse, the she-wolf of the SS"
Oh I really love that scene... at the end it is very sad.

I looked it up and you are correct. Thank you.

I do miss the days when Artemis joined the Themiscryians. I think it would've been fun to see her take up the WW mantle again after Diana "died" and joined the JL instead of Hippolyta.
-
I think she'd make a good addition to the JLD actually if Diana doesn't end up a fixture of that team. She'd fill the "muscle" niche of a team fairly well and I think she'd make an interesting character to bounce off Zatanna.

Ooh I love that idea for Artemis!
Actually anything that keeps out of the Bat-family orbit. ;)

I didn't mind her time on the Outlaws (at least what I read) but I am happy my fears from earlier this year she'd end up a Bat-ancillary character were unfounded.

If you peaced out after Red Hood and the Outlaws #25, do yourself a favor and skip the rest. TL;DR, Jason reaffirms he's the dumbest Robin and Artemis never really hits the same stride she did before.

You say that when we live in world where Tim Drake, "The smart Robin", decided his superhero code name should be
*checks notes*
Drake.

I mean Clark's been hiding in plain sight for years and the world's smartest man got fooled. It's dumb to us, but in universe it probably worked better than going by Robin.
But he let Steph go, so perhaps none of the Robins are particularly bright. :p

I would love it if there is always a special spot for WW characters on every JLD roster. Wonder Woman, Nubia, Hippolyta, Artemis, Cassie or Donna could take that spot if the other was unavailable.

Yeah, they'd all make good candidates though I think Donna and Cassie are pretty much permanently sewn to the hip of the TT and YJ franchises. I mainly went with Artemis since Outlaws seems finished at the moment.
I also don't imagine she'd get along well with Zee as Diana does but that's what team drama's for. :p
