Wonder Woman Vol 2 #21.
Hey everyone,
Does anyone have this issue readily available? I'm looking for the page where it is explained that the New Gods were created by the energies from the Titan/Olympian War. I believe it was in this Perez issue.
Thanks for any help that you can provide!!!

It's also available in "Wonder Woman by George Pérez", volume 2.

IIRC, wasn't it the other way around? I believe the Godwave, emmanating from the Source at the birth of the Fourth World seeded other planets with the potential for divinity as it expanded across the universe. At least I think that was the deal Post Crisis and Pre-DCnU. (But maybe I'm incorrect.)

In the Superman annual, Byrne stated that the New Gods were actually older, but then Perez reversed that the WW title, saying that the Olympians has temporarily withdrawn from this plane and were merely absent when the New Gods came into being. Much later, when Byrne wrote the Genesis crossover event, he stuck with his initial assertion that the New Gods came first.

I was rereading the issue in Wonder Woman by George Perez Volume 2.
He was introducing Circe and her ties with Hecate. The energy or disturbance caused by the Olympian/Titans war would have alerted others. So Zeus had Hecate cast a spell that masked the Olympians from others such as the New Gods. This is what led Darksied to believe the Olympians were "new".
Unfortunately, I don't have access to a scan of the page.
