How do you pronounce "Feige"?
I used to think it was pronounced Fige, but I have learned that the correct way is Fie-gy. Kind of like Nike.
I've heard Robert Downy Jr. pronunce it 'Fay-gi'.
Yeah, I've heard it like "Fay-gee" as well. Is that the right way?
I moved this to the Community forum as it does not strictly deal with Marvel comics.
I've heard folks in a podcast pronounce it as 'fye-gee' (with a hard G), to rhyme with Nike as Kurt said above.
But the spelling of the name reminds me of the German word Feige, which means 'fig', as in the fruit. If the name is of German origin, then it would be pronounced more or less as 'Fye-guh', with the final 'e' pronounced as a schwa (like the 'e' in 'battery').
Huh, I imagined it as sounding like "fayjh".
Okay, here's another one, since the ice on this topic is broken - David Aja. Is that "A-ha"? I've never met anyone with that name.

yeah, it's AA-ha. Stress is on the first syllable. I guess it's a Spanish name. Cause my pal with the last name Aja is Cuban.

I realize this is old but it came up in my Google search just now.
If you look at any marvel entertainment interview, they always introduce him as Fī-gī with emphasis on the first syllable https://youtu.be/xNiBNz61LRI

Also it’s Dah-Veed not Day-Vid. ;)
Looks like a German name to me. So I would say [fajg].
