Lilandra's Exposed Drug

Empress Lilandra decided to play with the whims of fate when she distributed a potent chemical that affects a person's sensitivity to emotions.

Professor Xavier, head of the genetic mutant empathy crusading school, was concerned about the social impact this new drug Lilandra was distributing would have on the public. Would it bring out unnatural feelings towards brutish control over fragile emotions?

Lilandra's intention was to prove that manipulating emotions could create an arena of intellect experimentation and thereby create dialogue about attitude adjustment as it relates to social coordination and hence governance.

Professor Xavier felt that this plan could create a dangerous political propaganda about creating governmental control over otherwise individual emotions.

Sabretooth, lethal nemesis of Wolverine, took Lilandra's drug and felt himself becoming more muscular and confident about emotion perception. Mr. Sinister, ominous nemesis of Cyclops, took Lilandra's drug and felt himself becoming more shrewd about emotion anticipation. Gorgeous George, wily nemesis of Gambit, took Lilandra's drug and felt himself becoming more keen about emotion uncertainty.

Professor Xavier felt that Wolverine, Cyclops, and Gambit needed to prepare for the combat stance that Sabretooth, Mr. Sinister, and Gorgeous George were taking and therefore instructed his friends about the value of understanding one's own reactions to his/her emotions without the need of synthetic enhancements.

Lilandra started to see the wisdom of Xavier's teachings and wondered about how she could reverse the complicated trends that the distribution of this potent drug was having on public perceptions. She met with Xavier and decided to create a joint-message billboard: "Becoming unnaturally sensitive to one's own emotions can potentially create dangerous feelings of paranoia."
