So far he seems to be operating under the usual "save the future" paradigm, hence why he only kidnapped Bobby. For what reasons and how far he's willing to go for this mission we'll see.
Yeah, that's the exact outfit. So Jean's about to go full vengeance mode only to have a stunning realization when she finally gets close.
Yeah that was my first thought too. She goes in to confront him(maybe even going for the kill?... Not how Jean does things but I can see this being an exception I guess), then she realizes he's also Nathan and doesn't know what to do.
And Bobby's not dead, he's in some sort of stasis tube. I think he's going to wipe them and send them back.
Jean sounds like Claremont's version here with the "He will pay for this" line (not direct quote). I like Jean when she's assertive and aggressive.
Yes, I like that Jean too. Shades of her speech to the U-Men in NXM. I guess for me though, if that's what they were going for, the art didn't quite line up.

Could be, but to go from hunting him down to fighting beside him... in a last ditch battle if the UXM 137 cover homage is any indication... seems like a stretch but I guess we'll see how that plays out.
I mean, regardless of who he is, he still killed N.C.

Well, the solicit says:
"Jean Grey and the X-Men only have one option left… and it may cost them everything."
So I guess if they're really gonna be fighting together it's gonna be a reluctant team up...
Isn't Jean one with the Phoenix while in the White Hot Room? She wears the white outfit and is the White Hot Phoenix of the Crown. Why was the Phoenix acting independently of Jean in AvX, Jeen's solo, and Resurrection? Again, probably just continuity errors.
1. The white hot room is core of creation, heart of phoenix, the nexus of all realities, so I think other phoenix from other universes except Jean(616-phoenix) also be there.
However in"Excalibur",the author said in an interview that phoenix force is a prime force to stand for all realities,so there is only one phoenix in all dimensions.
I feel this is a conflict between different writers.
2.In UXM, it is clear that phoenix approaching earth in AVX is only a slightly larger fragment of Phoenix.Even in “what if” it shows that Jean will come to deal with everything when the fragment is taken by the Magneto and everyone is at a loss.So at that time, we could believe that the whole AVX incident was under the control of Jean. Also in the UXM behind, Scott recalls going to the white-hot room when he became the Dark Phoenix and hearing Jean to say hello to Wolverine.
But this is actually in conflict with the AVX main line at that time. It is said that the writer of the AVX main line wanted to deny the existence of white phoenix of the crown and white hot room. But later in ”what if” and “UXM”, the other writers made up for AVX's writer.
Any speculation about this cover now?...

I think it's most likely that this is the younger version of Cable we saw in Extermination. We don't know what his story could be or even if he's from the same timeline. I think it was hoping for too much to be Cyclops. I have a feeling his return will be a separate event. This one has one primary goal, which is to send the O5 X-men back. And from the looks of it, Jean will play a part and I hope she has plenty of chances to shine.

I thought this event was going to be all about the timedisplaced O5 but i'm very happy Adult Jean and Cable will have a huge role apparently.
And Bobby's not dead, he's in some sort of stasis tube. I think he's going to wipe them and send them back.
That works for Beast, Scott, and Jean, but what about Angel? He needs more than just a mindwipe.

I’ve got this funny feeling that they’ll spmehow figure that out.
Maybe clone them and give the clones tgeir memories, which definitely wouldn’t give the adult O5 any lasting psychological problems, realizing that they’re only clones.
It would be pretty interesting, though.

It only sort of works. The 05 have all aged, they're not the same age as they were when they first came to their future. Cable is going to have to do something about that too.

This would probably imply that the O5 are staying around and I think that it's more or less confirmed that they're gone after this event.
Like, they aren't on any of the UXM teasers, and Brisson more or less says that the question at the summit was 'How to get rid of the O5'

It's only been a year or so hasn't it? I'm not sure how much that matters. I'd be more concerned about how they adjust Jeen's abilities back to where they were in 1964. You can mindwipe her sure, but her TK seems like it's leaps and bounds ahead in power levels compared to what she could do back then, not to mention the fact that her TP blocks are gone. I suppose Jean could put those back, but wouldn't Charles be able to tell the difference?

Its been more than a year but I get your point. I doubt Marvel will address this. How much does a teen really change in 2 years. If they are getting mind wiped, they arent going to notice a difference other than their clothes possibly not fitting
