Interesting (and beautifully drawn) and tragic parallel!

Now that's an extremely weird way of thinking for a little girl basically designed to make her future status as the last (non-PZ prisoner) person to remember how Krypton actually was more depressing and fitting.
I'm not sure if to be impressed or cynical.
Kara's too cool for school...

I'm hoping that when King's series is finally over. That DC will start portraying Kara as the 21year old that she should be. She doesn't need to be called Superwoman, Supergirl is fine. Unfortunately DC has not known what to do with Kara for a very long time.

I don't care at all for them calling her Superwoman.

I gotta agree with you there. But I think that it's time that some characters grow up some, and Kara is one of them. Along with Jimmy Olsen too.

She was his first major legacy/closest thing he has to a sidekick that's not Jimmy.

Yeah it’s fitting that she be treated as his equivalent to Robin. Much like Robin, Supergirl pretty much defined the “female counterpart”. So many other heroes that are spin-offs from a main hero take their cue from her like She-Hulk.

She reminds me of Joelle, DC should definitely get her on a Supergirl mini since she seems to love the character:

Just make sure she doesn't rip off anyone else drawing it.
