Another year of the Emerald Archer and as usual, I'm here to celebrate some of his best eras!

The Silver Age is cool too, especially Jack Kirby's work.

Happy New Year to the Emerald Archer and his fans .
A new year, a new chance at an ongoing. Come on, Ollie!
Happy New Years!!! Honestly reading Mike Grell, Green Arrow: Year One, Denny O’Neill/Neal Adam’s run and Kevin Smith run reminded me what I love about Green Arrow. Honestly I prefer his Seattle adventures more than anything tbh. The Urban Robin Hood/Champion of the people works for his character as well as the swashbuckling adventurer personality.

I was honestly hoping Arrow's popularity would lead to an animated series or animated film on GA (more closely resembling the comics) but no, all that monkey's paw did is harm the Green Arrow IP. :(
Here's the Who's Who entry from Green Arrow Annual #2 (1989):

I mean he’s going to be in Checkmate and supposedly leading the Justice League so while not a solo it’s a step up from near nothing....although both are written by Bendis.
This cover is still stunning to me, and a favorite after all these years.

Much as I don't love that costume, yeah, it's a killer cover. This and the Power of SHAZAM painted covers are really underrated.

Waitwhat? It's the greatest!
Now you have to explain yourself! ;)

Otto Schmidt was pretty much the only good thing from GA Rebirth.

The Adams and Rebirth looks are my favorite. To be honest, I don't much like Ollie in a hood.

Rebirth was great!

Percy tried to mansplain the term "mansplain" without even knowing what it actually meant.

I can't get into the Robin Hood cap, personally. But yes, the Rebirth costume is toward the top of my list.
