Not very interesting at all. “Thinly veiled threats” get made daily. Lots of them here, on this very forum!
Sometimes they’re “threats” due to being misconstrued, or twisted for nefarious purposes or unintentional causes. Sometimes people are just having a bad day, and feel like everyone’s out to get them!
What would be interesting is some sort of corroboration to these claims, or...y’know...some exact quotes.
Would you have some proofs before to pass sentence? It is so barbaric, so medieval! In the modern (and more civilized) times to pass sentence it is enough an accusation.
There is apparently an ongoing investigation into Fisher’s claims by WB and possibly other entities. This has gotten into legal territory so Fisher can’t provide specific details. There’s also likely an NDA somewhere (there typically is).
So, I guess he figures by dropping crumbs he can get traction and possibly the real story out there.
If that's the case i don't think its working. Still comes across as sour grapes over having Cyborg's role in JL reduced by Whedon and/or studio execs. Which, yeah Cyborg was easily the least interesting of the JL characters imo, but that's not really the same thing as Whedon and Johns being abusive and toxic. Otherwise we've basically got his barber not getting a film credit, as well as being forced to say "booyah", which is pretty thin gruel.
Fisher seems to be hoping that the snyder cut is enough of a success that WB decides to go ahead with a Cyborg solo movie, but imo he's burning bridges in the process. Especially since they could just use the actor from Doom Patrol whose Cyborg is a much more compelling character anyhow. Or they could just recast entirely.

How about he keeps his mouth SHUT?
Let the investigation do its job.
He STARTED chirping not WB. HE did.
You don't get to run behind a NDA after calling folks out with no evidence. His agent should have told him that. Let folks do their job and be silent.
Instead of burning bridges. Because Doom Patrol Cyborg say HI. Don't think they can't do a Cyborg movie around him for a cheaper cost.
-
I doubt it's an NDA keeping him from talking. It'd be a pretty crappy document if it allows him to talk about the supposed incident but not give specifics. That allows people to imagine the worst and could taint public opinion, which is what an NDA is meant to avoid.
-
Honest question: would be best if the finished Snyder Cut is as close to Snyder's original intent at the time he resigned, or should he revise it further beyond the scope of his past self?

Exactly.
If there's an NDA, he's not even adhering to it because he's dropping some stupid details.
He should shut the f..k up and let the investigation take its couse.

Apparently NDAs Do NOT cover criminal actions,if he is speaking it means something constituting a crime was afoot.NDAs cannot put a lid on that

I think his original intent was watered down by BvS reception making WB step in, If he had a plan from the beginning spanning MoS and BvS regardless of box office he should stick to it.I mean it is his vision,so if we get ZSJL then we should get exactly ZSJL if you catch my drift

Then why isn't he giving any specifics? If there's no NDA then it seems he's just crying wolf.

It will be his word against Whedon's or Geoff's in any case ,he is speaking out because he is right to expose the truth. He has no reason to make it up

But why isn't anyone else sharing his truth? Jason Momoa for instance has spoken out very critically about poor behavior on set in projects he's worked on in the past, why hasn't he come out in support of his castmate here? Why haven't we heard from some random lighting guy with nothing to lose?
I mean, just look at how fast that video of Bale acting like a dick on set got released and corroborated by other workers past and present...why isn't that happening here?
It just feels iffy.

Except you're ignoring the part where he hadn't actually said anything of value. He's not exposing anything since he's given zero specifics as to what happened.

He has one of the biggest reasons there is to make it up. Attention.
When was the last time you heard anybody talk about him prior to him trying to rake Whedon over the coals?

He also started doing this when the Snyder Cut was getting made, a project he's very supportive of and has a bigger role in.

Although it's no smoking gun, when they were doing tours and panels and Ray was promoting the film, there is footage of Momoa nodding with a very weird look like "riiight we have to promote the film.smile and wave boys...'
Though Ray is the one with little to lose , he has the one role and if he stands for what he believes is injustice he will go back to theatre. If Momoa speaks out ,it will tarnish publicity for Aquaman2 a movie WB still has on the books.I mean Momoa can come out and support him if the wrong actions were committed in front of other cast members. If it happened behind closed doors in an office to Ray only ,what can Momoa say?
