So my takeaway is that the writers are at least going with Year One as, relatively, the current origin (the War On Terror is I guess supposed to be relevant to why Sears was as big a deal as it was) until told otherwise.
The only one who seemed invested in the WWII origin for Diana was Scott Snyder and I guess Dan Didio.

This doesn't coincide with what we've seen recently. In the Stargirl Special from about 6 months ago, Wonder Woman was depicted as a member of the JSA in the preview for the delayed/cancelled JSA book.

We also had, like, Earth-2 Huntress and Robin if I recall correctly. I don't think it was meant to concretely display continuity.

Key word there is that the book was delayed or canceled.

In that link people asked if WW is bulletproof like it was shown in Orlando run. Yet conrad doeesn't answer. Saying they will answer in a story. But they already stated Diana to be invulnerable in the first arc. So how come he doesn't say yes she is invulnerable now? I swear if this team gives us another moment of Diana getting shot and going down like a freaking human being. I'm ready to put this team on my black list.

Mmhhmm, yes.

This same team said WW is invulnerable in their first arc. And now they say they will answer if WW is bulletproof later. If she is invulnerable then she is bulletproof. But now they said this? I have the feeling we should prepare ourselves to see WW getung shot again and dropping like a rock again. So much for the amazon powerhouse with godly powers. Pick up a gun and she goes down.

I cant wait for the next issue. Loving this team.

I’m very much looking forward to this week with this and Historia #1

Yessssss. My body is ready for Historia.
I do wonder with all the WG delays how this team will handle the Amazons event. Either someone is going to have to delay or someone is going to have to triple ship.

I'm expecting poor performance by WW yet again based on conrad comments where he can't answer directly if WW is bulletproof after stating she is invulnerable in first arc. Historia could at least balance things out.

Seems Nubia and the Bana backup are the main ones that are building towards ToA at the moment.
Not sure on WG, the art’s nice but seems having Jones doing double duty there has been a mistake with the delays. I’ve been meh on Yara, so I had to drop the book.

Cloonan and Conrad are best new writers on WW since Gail Simone.

But isnt the event suppose to cross over to each title?

That story about Diana appearing in WWII times was meant to set up a Scott Snyder JSA book. But since that didn’t happen, and Snyder has no plans to do a JSA book, I think we can safely disregard it.
