As I suggested in my initial post, Mari's connection to animals is deeper than Diana's. I'm glad that the comics support the notion that Vixen's connection is stronger than Diana's.
I haven't read the story in the anthology yet but both characters ability to communicate with animals getting brought up in two back to back stories got me thinking.

I know it helps with a visual and a weakness but I lowkey hate that she has to touch to her totem to access the powers.

I'm actually cool with that look. I wasn't a fan of her dating B'wanna Beast but it was a nice dramatic ending to their love story.
Also, lifting 10 times her own weigh, means she can lift 1270 pounds, which is pretty weak considering her JLU version could lift a little over 10 tons with the strength of a elephant. Her comic version could possibly lift 7,000 tons with the strength of gonorrhea.

They straight up had Detective Chimp flirting with Vixen in that "Gorillas in Our Midst!" episode.

Oh Warner Bros isn’t seeing heaven for that.

I assume without the totem, her powers are just like Animal Man, can reach 150 feet

She does in outside media though.

On this particular subject, I bow to Redjack's scan as he was the one who wrote that pic and the comic trump outside media
Now If I can just convince him to have her fully use Gorilla Grodd's telepathy, I would be on Cloud 9. ;)

The comic is more recent and it upgrades her powerset.

I kinda hate the 'proportional strength of' thing. She doesn't have the 'proportional strength' of a blue whale if it was a 140 lb. woman, she has the *actual* strength of a 100 ft. long, 150 *ton* blue whale.
Same thing with proportional speeds. She runs as fast as a cheetah (80 MPH) and flies as fast as a falcon, she doesn't have the 'proportional speed' of a peregrine falcon if it weighed seventy times as much (which would be, uh, math, math, math, about 3.4 MPH, assuming 240 MPH as top speed for a 2 lb. falcon and a 140 lb. Mari using the 'proportional speed of a falcon').
Let Spider-Man have that proportional nonsense.

Because her powers are magical, it really hard to pin down exactly how powerful she can become. Even though writer have said, she uses the proportional strength, speed, sense of certain animals she has more than once stepped outside range of said animal abilities.
It's all about what she thinks she can do...i.e. like when she held Flashpoint Aquamsn to a wall, using the strength of a whale.
No matter how you look at it, no whale (blue, Grey or killer) is gonna out muscle Aquaman.
