I think that Charles will be around for the confrontation with Eclipso.
But for next season it is hard to see him being around. I mean
Charles McNider never lived in Nebraska, unless I am missing something.
He might show up for guest shots like we have seen Golden Age Flash in the
Flash show.
None of the Infinity Inc members lived in Nebraska but here they are.

None of the Infinity Inc members went to high school together, but here we are :p.
(Beth and Yolanda were both dead by the time Courtney became Stargirl in the comics, which is kind of ironic).

predictions for the final two episodes.
1. Syl finally shows up hopefully in possession of a cosmic converter belt that will allow him to become Skyman to leave the star moniker free. The CCB will allow him to fully recharge Cosmo giving two sources of cosmic energy plus the GL ring to face Eclipso
2. Pat fights hard to save Rick from his actions. McNider uses his knowledge of Miraclo to replace the hourglass.
3. Mike finds Jakeem bringing him and T'bolt back into the fray.
4. the two vestiges of dark energy were either because shade was actually split in half which was why he couldn't heal. so having spent one the other can heal. Or it was Todd in town using his connection to Jenny to track her and he had just gotten as far as her first visit.
5. Obviously Yolanda returns
6. Grundy joins the team in the final fight to face Eclipso
7. Chuck due to his time in the shadowlands has learned the ways to weaken Eclipso giving them the best chance of fighting him
-
These are decent predictions. But then we only have two episodes.
You would think they have to pay off all of this Grundy time with something. One and four
seem it is hard to say, the rest are going to happen.
Todd has to show up. I mean Obsidian is an obvious one with the shadowlands, plus Jennie
has been searching for him all season.

Jennie has only been in 3 episodes. The resolution to her plotline doesn't need to be concluded this season.

Yeah, I assume the set up with Todd and Mr. Bones will be one of the big season 3 stuff.

That's right because that nurse only told them he wasn't there

Actually that brings up a big question.
In the comics by mid way thru his career Alan was CEO and major stock holder of Gotham Broadcasting. Why would the kids of a big executive go into the system instead of being cared for by servants like say Bruce Wayne???
Or did his non hero career not go that way in the shows history.
This needs to be covered

I'm guessing they'll get more into how they landed in foster care in season 3. Something happened with Alan and they haven't addressed their mother yet.

Maybe Mister Bones setup that way so he can get Todd after Alan died.

We don't know on the show just how financially successful Scott's media ventures were.
In the comics they tended to be up and down, I think he even had to declare bankruptcy at one point.
Clearly, if the kids are in the foster system it wasn't a lavish upbringing.
I'm sure the others are probably right that with everything else going on, we probably won't see this until season 3.
It would have been nice to see Obsidian involved with the struggle against Eclipso.
I am loving how Infinity centric the show has been.

Season 3 will be a tall order. It will be very difficult to top Eclipso as the main villain.

I think Bones and Helix will probably offer a different kind of threat than Eclipso and the ISA did.
I'm just curious how they'll pull his design off.

Those masked guys who turned Shade into what he is made me think of Johnny Sorrow. I wouldn't mind him being the Bag Bad next season.

Or maybe the Ultra-Humanite. They could do the original who looked a lot like Lex Luthor, the evil scientist in an actress' body, or the albino ape, depending on how much they want to spend on make-up and SFX.
