Cool thread. Most of my favorite heroes are legacy heroes so it's kinda hard for me to choose. Most of these are pretty close.
1. Wally West (shocker I know)
2. Kyle Rayner
3. Supergirl Linda Danvers
4. Tim Drake
5. Conner Hawke
Man if they made a team with these guys I would be in heaven .
I would kill for Wally, Kyle, & Connor to be reunited. I should have added Kyle in my honorable mentions.
-
Tim Drake - Robin
Wally West - The Flash
Guy Gardner - Green Lantern
Kyle Rayner - Green Lantern
Dick Grayson - Batman
Along with Donna they are my favourtite characters too.
-
1. Wally West- The Flash
2. John Stewart- Green Lantern
3. Kyle Rayner- Green Lantern
4. Cassandra Cain- Batgirl
5. Damian Wayne- Robin (fight me :p)
Honorable Mentions: Ryan Choi/Atom; Jason Rusch/Firestorm; Conner Hawke/Green Arrow; Jessica Cruz/Green Lantern
I was going to add Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle but he isn't really a legacy character imo. He has his own mythology, villains, supporting cast, and a completely different powerset from Ted/Dan. It'd be cheating to add him.

1 - Wally
2 - Dick
3 - Cass
4 - Jack Knight
5 - Michael Holt

HA!!!! You seem to know my feelings on Damian :D That is an interesting perspective on Jaime, that I did not think about!

I still have this vague hope that once Rebirth ends they'll have those guys team up again.
That one crossover with all three of them was awesome.

Nice. Donna and Dick are part of my favorites as well. I didn't include Dick in my list because I like him as Nightwing. Don't really care for him as Batman.
Except Barry wasn't a legacy character pre-COIE.
Barry is an interesting case. In the Pre-COIE continuity, he was the first Flash of Earth-One, but not the first Flash in the Multiverse (or in publication). Post-COIE, he was the second Flash (and thus, a legacy character). New 52, he was once again the first Flash, and until Jay reemerges permanently, who knows?

1. Dick as Batman, whenever it happens
2. Wally as the Flash
3. Damian as Robin
4. Kate as Batwoman, though that isn't always the case with her depending on the canon.
Don't really have a fifth that I can think of.

1. Dick Grayson-Batman
2. Kyle Reyner- Green Lantern
3. Damian Wayne-Robin
4. Jon Kent-Superboy
5. Cortney Whitmore- Stargirl
-
Wally, Dick, Kyle, Conner, Stephanie.
-
Wally
John Stewart
Linda Danvers (she count?)
Kate Spencer
Terry McGuinness
Kaldur
-
I would go:
Starman - Jack Knight
Robin - Tim Drake
Flash - Wally West
Mister Terrific - Micheal Holt
Stargirl - Courtney Whitmore
To me a true legacy is one that picks up the mantle left behind by another. That is why I don't count the Green Lanterns since that is a job or a silver age character taking on a golden age name.
-
1. Ted Kord
2. Zatanna
3. Stargirl
4. Jade
5. Captain Marvel Jr.
For the most part I hate the whole concept of legacy heroes. I liked the pre-crisis set up-every twenty years the heroic age started on a different dimension. DC could of had an Earth that was starting to have superheroes appear. By combining all the Earths into one has made their universe feel really crowded and the heroes are completely redundant. Does the Justice League need two Green Lanterns? Does the Earth need more than one Flash/speedster? Of course every version has their fans, and they need to appease all those fans. I just think they went in the wrong direction all those years ago.

Dick Grayson/Batman
Wally West/Flash
Conner Hawk/Green Arrow

Jon Kent/Superboy
