Ok that title wasn't the best but am I the only one seeing this?
No but you're not the only one
Edit: Oh is this Injustice? Then I don't know
Yeah, you are pretty much!:p
They've double dated before IIRC.
Out of continuity story. Admittedly I don't know what the writer established there, so he may have just been trying to be 'clever'.
Is this a joke?

Shipping, I think.
In Injustice, well, sort of (by the way, I really like Booster's storyline there). Not in the main continuity.
Or it could just be a dude heartbroken that he could not save his best friend, who he will miss bitterly, trying to offer him one last moment's comfort, and in so doing comforting himself. Love doesn't always have to be sexual or romantic.

This. Beetle and Booster are (were?) probably the best male friends in the DC Universe, in terms of how much they liked and cared about each other. Others might say that honor goes to Clark and Bruce, who have the utmost respect for each other, but I don't see them having the close, caring, tender, but still jocular friendship of Ted and Michael. A nerd and a jock, born centuries apart, one is a genius and the other... not so much. But both have been rich, both lost all their money, both have always been underappreciated underdogs, but they've been through A LOT together and always had each other to rely on, even when they didn't have anyone else who believed in them.
No they were dating Fire and Ice at one point, they're just besties.
That is from Injusticeverse and there is no reason to believe that either of them liked other men in that way, even in that continuity.
They are not gay? I am surprised.
No but they should
