Ugh Magma is flying again, and after issue 2 avoided that.

The crowd cheering for Hellion and Surge is pretty damn satisfying though

I simultaneously love and hate that those two just ignored the aesthetic of the world to just wear their 616 style.

going by what Magma's wearing...I think it's sensible or them to wear something more than a sports bra and booty shorts

This is such a fun book. Definitely some of the best Nightcrawler moments we've had in years.

I've been a bit lukewarm on this book

I [B]freaking love[/B] the cast, all of them, but I just didn't particularly like Kurt being a champagne quaffing sleb in the first issue, maybe it's a riff on the soulless plot, but it turned me off quickly.


LOVE, with all my heart!, Magmas fiery form, please let this stay, the blackened bits could even project somewhat to give her a armored look the longer she stays in her magma form.


The book is a fun romp and starting to build momentum now.

I friggin' adore this series. The art is awesome, there are some interesting character beats for Kurt, and Seanan picked a great cast here. Tho' as an old-school Excalibur fan and NXM fan, I cop to a ton of bias on that last point. ;)

My only disappointment is that this doesn't seem to be the staged fight I was hoping it was (though that's still not entirely out of the question, I suppose). Can't wait for Wednesday.

Art is good but Next Gen is still my fav in the art department.

Just read the issue. Maguire will develop some serious lower back issues for carrying this event on her back, God bless her. It's all too good.

Definitely one of the best reveals of the year. :o

This issue elevated the book to one of AoXM’s best.
