Slade should be glad Respawn died thinking he was a good dad before he inevitably realized the kind of father Slade really is. Rose is just too desperate.
Clownhunter is punching too much above his weight.
Damians' cousin continues to play to type.

Respawn was created without Slade's knowledge or consent, and still Slade took him in and accepted him immediately. Slade only knew him for a few days, but still mourns him as a father and is willing to wage war on the League of Assassins to avenge him.
Slade's hardly the best Dad, but his love for his son was genuine. Frankly, he was a step up in Respawn's life

I know Slade loves his kids but he inevitably always screws them up.

This one came to him screwed up. Maybe Slade could have fixed him? ;)

Y'know, on some level that just makes it sadder...

This is a fact.

Rose's problem is that writer want us to believe she's a badass, but keep writing her as a pawn. She's gonna fall for his gaslighting/manipulation and join him in this conflict.

Nah, Slade can only destroy or corrupt. Fixing is beyond him.

I agree with that. Slade destroys everyone. Good or bad.

Rose has the fate of being poorly written. Every time some writer does something for her, someone throws it all away. Devin Grayson did well for her in Nightwing, so Teen Titans throws it all out the window. Priest does an excellent job, despite the terrible end of her partner, it was nice to see her married to a character made for her. Now she's back to being Robin's pet. Williamsom won't do anything for her.

Well, I don't think being a supporting character is the same as being a "pet."

Where's the gaslighting in this?
The Al Ghuls created and then tortured a clone brother of hers. They then killed him.
What about that is untrue, and undeserving of punishment?
Batman can no longer be considered the world’s greatest detective if he didn’t suspect Geo-Force back in issue #1.
Williamson has good ideas, but his execution is very lacking sometimes, there’s zero subtlety. He made things too obvious and now I’m not even excited to read the week’s issues.
It's funny, but for a twist, which was supposed to be complete surprise, lots of people figured it out weeks ago.
