What about[Spoil]Tom Welling Superman?[/spoil]
I'll be pissed if he dies. He's not even my favorite Clark, but dammnit after 10 seasons of waiting for him to become Superman, I don't want them to ruin Smallville's mostly happy ending damnit! I think he's safe since he's supposedly only going to be in one scene. Although the actor's attitude reminds me of how Harrison Ford only agreed to come back if Han dies.....maybe we should be worried?

Hope not. I've been thinking it's been Routh's Supes that dies.

Makes more sense to me given Routh will be done after this crossover.

If Routh Superman dies, I hope it's like a hero..

I’m hoping for great things since this is Routh’s Swan Song. I think he’ll nail it if he’s given an epic death scene, and with Marv Wolfman helping to write I think Routh will get that chance.
oh ****, Do we know what the back of Routh's new cape looks like? because it looks like [spoil]His Superman and Shipp's Flash are goners :([/spoil]

I've said since day one that Routh's Superman will go out in a blaze of glory in this crossover, but that S doesn't match the one on his suit.

I don't think it's Routh Superman that dies. His Superman logo is different.

Welling's cape, I think, didn't have anything on the cape. Could it be Dean Cain's Superman?
Shame that the first Superman show we're getting in a long time is going to be Superdad, but hopefully that won't drag it down too much for me.
I can only hope.
If Lois & Clark had lasted into a 5th season we would have had Superdad back in the 1990s.
If it’s any consolation CW has gone full bat**** insane with their shows, and Cryer Lex has been great. I can’t wait to see him and Superman face off. Plus maybe we’ll get Brainiac! I don’t think they’ve used him over on Supergirl.
Yes, we have had Brainic 8 aka Indigo in the first season of Supergirl and Brainiac 5 starting in the 3rd season, but have yet to have the numberless Brainiac. But I think they should save Brainiac for the Superman and Lois show.

Or maybe none of them die. Maybe a Superman from a different Earth. After all there are infinite Earths. I think a lot of Supermen die. We know Green Arrow and several other heroes died already on Earth 90.
If Earth 90 had a Superman he is probably dead too.

Is this the first time we've seen the torn cape in live-action ala Death of Superman? Smallville might have referenced it.

Dean's cape had a beautifully embroidered all yellow emblem.

I think we all knew that Routh's Superman was a sacrificial lamb. It might not have anything to do with any of the current Earths. For one thing, it doesn't look like any of the Supermen that we know.

apparently filming starts in march

Also looks like they might age Jon up to about 10 apparently? I’m glad the show will take place in Metropolis at least.

Welling had one, but it looked slightly different than that.

Most likely for a pilot.

What's the source on this? Not questioning, just curious.
