Best options to contain Bendis
1) Earth One graphic novel, Flash is short a writer there, cant harm anything in the main universe
2) Batman Beyond. The writing in beyond isnt bad, but its not amazing either. Itd be a good playground for Bendis since the futures been rapidly changing anyways and he can have all the OCs he wants for his supporting casts.
3) This is a suspicion and its not a bad idea since it keeps him away from the established heroes, but there are 2 unannounced Dark Matter titles and with them being near pastiches of Marvel characters, then why not stick a former Marvel writer on one if you got em?

Maybe DC can have Bendis do some work on Looney Tunes and Scooby-Doo?

I don't know if this was mentioned yet, but I think Bendis would be a decent fit for Red Hood and the Outlaws.

WHY IS DC OBSESSED WITH HIM LIKE THAT?
-
That's a horrible article. The fact that it says "rumor" makes its rhetoric look even funnier. Honestly, whether it's true or not, I believe no writer who's never worked for DC before should be given this much power right off the bat. DC should wait and see what Bendis actually does for them first before giving him positions like that. For all we know the guy could end up not even liking being part of DC. Plus, it took Johns how long to get into the position he's in, yet I'm to believe Bendis just waltzes in and they hand him everything on a silver platter? I take this type of BC articles with a huge grain of salt.

Well, that might alleviate anyone who was concerned about all the Johns books :p.
I guess it's also a good thing to see Bendis is doing "research."

Looks like he's researching pretty much the entire DC Universe, past and present.
I find myself wondering if they really ARE planning on letting him do a DC version of the Ultimate Universe? It's what made him famous, after all, and it's been argued more than once that the DC Universe might just benefit from an Ultimate-esque treatment of its characters. This way, Bendis is free to re-imagine DC characters as he sees fit, and if we don't like it? Eh. It's a separate universe. No harm, no foul. On the other hand? If he comes up with some really good ideas, it may be worth it to implement those ideas in the main universe.
