A scene that has been lauded as one of the greatest montage sequences in the history of movies - the sequence at the beginning of Up.
Brings a tear to my eye every time.
I don’t know if this counts as “film”, but you mentioning Up! reminded me of it:

And I agree about the opening sequence of Up!
entire opening (Moon-Watcher tribe) and closing (Star-Gate....Star-Child final) acts of 2001 a Space Odyssey
these are purely visual experiences, which tell the story.
2001 was the first thing that came to my mind.
Another classic - the opening to "The Sound of Music" where the camera drifts across the Austrian countryside for a good two or three minutes while some opening credits roll until we get to our helicopter shot of Julie Andrews, arms outstretched spinning around - essentially emerging from the countryside, the very embodiment of the Austrian homeland. (which comes under threat from Nazis later, which is what makes it important... Austria is not a place - it's a people. ;) Ah, nationalism...)

60 Seconds to what from the end of "For A Few Dollars More"

Roberto Begnini's Death in Life is beautiful. The love that character had for his son. Only movie that has ever made me cry.
The final sequence in inception is a close second
2009 Watchmen, the sequence that gives the movie background is well done and very enjoyable. It tells everything we needed to know.

I was literally just going to youtube to find a clip of this to post when I saw your post about it. It told you everything you needed to know without a word being spoken.
Once upon a time in the west had a lot of silent great scenes...
