X-men might be the first to bite the dust for me after reading that preview for #3. I swear I’m hoping the rest of the issue is better because if not....it might be time to part ways. My mind can’t suffer through that dialogue from Hickman much longer.

after 2 issues each
1. New Mutants
2. Marauders
3. X-Men
4. Excalibur and X-Force (Tie)
6. Fallen Angels (not gonna buy issue 3, I just wasn't feeling the characterization of Laura and Teen Cable)
-
I looked at the user reviews for the X-line. Three or four 1 out of 10 ratings on all the books came from people who gave 1s to all Marvel books, and 10s to all DC books, so take the user reviews with a helping of salt.

That's good news in a way, 'cause it means the books are being better received than it looks, by actual fans. But it doesn't surprise me that others are THAT petty, and BITTER honestly, to go out of their way... to serve up SO many BIG ole helpings of salt. ;) The poor babies. :p

1. Excalibur
2. New Mutants
3. Marauders
4. X-Force
5. Fallen Angels
6. X-Men
I'm ready to drop any of them though except maybe Excalibur. I'm at the point now where each book has 1 or 2 characters that is keeping me reading and the smaller their role the more likely I'll drop the books.
-
1. Berto's journey to save Sam from losing his abs
2. X-Force
Percy is a great writer even if I don't love the cast/plot that much.
3. Marauders
A fun book but I'm not fully gripped yet.
4-6. The rest.
Idk. I'm waiting for Rictor and Emma's upcoming appearances in Excalibur/X-Men to see if things change.
-
1. X-Force
2. New Mutants (this one surprised me with how fun it is)
3. Marauders
4. Excalibur
5. X-men (as others have said, stiff characterization and too much focus on Cyclops makes this one more boring than it should be as the flagship)
6. Fallen Angels
-
I'm ready for my list
1) New Mutants: great humor, great art, it's exploring the space plots set in HoX PoX plus I love the characters.
2) X-Force: I wouldn't have thought I'd like this so much! It feels like a continuation to PoX and HoX even if Hickman is not writing it. Great world building, great art and it gives focus to all characters.
3) Marauders: great art, not so great colors. It's got some of my all time faves, plus it deals with the super interesting political aspects of Krakoa. And it's got nice humor. I'm still waiting for something more after the first 2 issues of building up the Red Queen.
4) X-Men: it's the flagship title, but it still hasn't blown me away. It's setting some nice stuff for the future though. Art is meh.
5) Excalibur: I loved the premise, but I'm not liking something about this but I can't quite understand what it is. Maybe the characters voices? Art is great and the magic subplots are super interesting.
6) Fallen Angels: I'm not keen on the let's give Kwannon all Psylocke traits thing. Plus the art is bad imo. And I don't like how Laura is written sooo not my fave. But I think it's got potential.

Dawn of X Is really becoming a hit or miss adventure for me at this point.
After some third issues just came out I got to say...
Excalibur is looking promising. #3 might have been the best issue yet for that series. Marauders #3 was well written.
X-men has one more issue. That’s it. One final issue. I can’t keep holding out hope that hickman is going to figure that one out. It’s becoming painfully obvious that that’s just his style for that title. It’s stale, lame and terribly written. It was a struggle
Getting through that last issue. This title consistently solidifies itself as the worst book of the dox launch and at this point it’s easily running away with the award. Whatever little life this title has is also being drained by the artwork. Completely lifeless.
