Hey, it's a situation Lois can relate to.

Actually, suddenly packing on the pounds is nothing new for Supes and his girlfriends.

They should do a modern spin on this.

Can't. Someone would complain about body shaming.
Besides it's not like either Clark or Lois needs to keep up their appearance, they have already landed each other. Now if Clark gets a beer gut or Lois gets pear-shaped it's just that they have gotten past needing to impress each other to keep the romance alive.

Why would anyone be complaining about body shaming? The protagonists are the chubby ones. If anything, guys who body shame could be the ones portyed as the shallow ones.

Because if the chubby protagonist is going to stay chubby you have no story. If they are trying to undo what made them that chubby then you are implying there is something wrong with people in real life who look like that.

That depends on the health and how comfortable a person is in that shape. I let myself go after landing job. Suffice to say, it started affecting my health. So i had to reduce my weight back. Its an interesting discussion to be had.

By Jon Bogdanove.
Interestingly, Superman spoke with his daughter from Injustice? She as her brother, fought with Brainiac.

You can tell from that look on Clark's face that he already knew and didn't want to relive that memory.
