I don't really mind Mako and Asami together too much, but yeah, better that she stays single (and him too). Unlike Mako and Korra, him and Asami do seem to have some chemistry, at least when he isn't being an asshole towards her.
That's true, they aren't that bad together.
But all complaints aside, I'm just excited to get another season of Korra & Co. in action. I hope they announce the release date soon (if they haven't already).

I did not like how they treated both Asami and Bolin in the second season. Asami was just a means to introduce Varrick and then shoved immediately to the side for almost the rest of the season. If that wasn't bad enough, Bolin was then treated like a complete moron.
Look, Bolin has knack for getting into stupid situations because he is naive and innocent, but in no way am I buying for a single second that Bolin is so stupid that he would not know the difference between acting and reality. Fortunately, the writers made it up to him by giving him a chance to be the skilled bender that we came to love in season 1.
As far as Mako and Asami go, I'm not opposed to attaching LoK's least liked characters to one of LoK's better characters if it means we'll now see a lot more of Asami. We need more Asami!

Next week? That's short notice.

Yeah it is short. From announcement of premiere date to premiere for Book one was about 2 months. For Book Two it was about a month. Following the pattern we should have gotten two weeks notice lol.

The balance of bending being returned to the world via fallout from the events of the Harmonic convergence.
Or...
Secret civilization of Airbenders choosing to re-surface. Something akin to the Sun Warriors from the original series.
I'm betting on the first.

Heh, if this weren't a kids show...
Wonder what this'll do to Lin's relationship with Tenzin. Part of the reason they broke up was the fact that she didn't wanna be a breeder for the next generation of Airbenders, and Tenzin kinda had to have some rugrats. Now, it's no longer such an issue, but obviously you can't change the past...
...in this genre.

Nothing much on it yet but the folk working on it have a decent resume.

Gotta say, I'm kinda interested in the revelation of Toph having two daughters by two different husbands.
And I just suddenly realized that it leaves the door open for a canonical Sokka/Toph relationship without seeming squicky.
