I'm being told that they are true, but in a different context. So, yeah, can't wait till tomorrow to see if they are or not. Should be fun either way!
As for Tony and Emma's marriage, Tony may not be a king, but he's incredibly rich and has ties not only to the Avengers, but to the machines as well.
That still not a good reason for a marriage, a special contract with Krakoa would do. I don't know how iron man current storyline ends, but right now he doesn't own anything as he is not considered a person by humans.
His mind is a record from the Stark that died and a new organic body was made. It is similar to the krakoa ressurrection.
Stark is popular and give her a window out of x-men books.
I know. Emma is slowly taking over Marvel to be its true Queen.

I am not sure but it might also ruin the character. Connecting pieces with the rest of the marvel universe never really help the x-men and its characters.

Ikr. Making it all the more puzzling that some fans desperately want their faves to branch out instead of enjoying the high we are on.

But that just makes the marriage even more needed! We see consistently that Tony Stark is heavily involved in the robot uprising in some way.
And a marriage is more than just a contract. It's the joining of two families, it's a special bond that means any attack on one is an attack on the other.

If there isn't love it is just a contract. That is why if they start falling for each other the things get more interesting and maybe a conflict machine/krakoa

Fans are bit more optimistic and way above their head but I am not surprised to see x-fans keeping their blind eye to the x-men's history after Hickman.

This thread is going to be so much fun to follow tomorrow. I'm going to stock up on popcorn. :o

What's bad about the X-Men popping up in other franchises, tbh?
Yeah, Storm married some dude, but it's not like X-Men was using her. Still aren't using her much.
Anna Marie did alright, besides the Deadpool thing.
That said, I never want X-Men to go exclusively away to another franchise. Well, ok maybe one or two I wouldn't mind.
-
Storm was a prominent figure in the franchise before her wedding. You're once again confused.
-
Storm hasn't been prominent since the 80s. She's appeared, sure, but was any major storyline popping for her in the 2000s? No.

Without his fake daughter to whine him to death maybe Erik will get to kill Stark like he wanted to in Axis...

She was the main character in XTreme XMen and Uncanny XMen in the reload era. Right before the wedding.

That was while Claremont was writing, after he left Storm lost a lot of relevance

Lol even with Xtreme...what major event was going down there for Storm? Her marrying the panther did nothing to her and I imagine other characters would be fine branching out as well.
Anyway, on the Jean front, there are some pages floating around because some cool guy was bleeding pages from tomorrow's comics into his article. So be careful out there if you worry about spoilers.
And well...there will be discussion.
