Hal in uniform without a mask is like leaving home without a watch.
Kind of reminds me of Earth One Hal.

That is awesome. Love the dark alternative to The Green Lantern #1.
Is this fan made? It looks like they are giving the dark stars some.kind of dark projections they can shoot. Or something?

It's a cover for the Blackstars mini :) and I think in TGL we have seen them with blaster weapons based on Evil Star's tech.

Cool. Thanks.
Yeah it looks like Vampire lady is shooting some other type of "laser" than Hal's spikey, dark misty projection. Maybe they all shoot different things.
I also read Justice League of America #104, where Hector Hammond resurrected the Shaggy Man, and sent him to battle the League.
The battle nearly brought the Satellite crashing to Earth. Even Superman could not fight Shaggy Man, and save the Satellite.
It was cool that Hal came in, and saved the day.
Hector Hammond is such a Hal-Hater.

Obviously, I am really digging Bronze Age, Pre-Crisis DC.
My two favorites series (thus far) are Green Lantern, and Legion of Superheroes. I'm a sucker for sci-fi, high adventure, and interpersonal drama.
Reading both books, I saw something really funny.....

Has anyone ever stopped to see if Carl Ferris is 100% human? (J/K)
It would be funny if RJ Brande based his human guise from Carl Ferris.
Probably a coincidence, like having a mom named Martha.
The last time I saw Carl Ferris was during the Geoff run, but he had black hair (to more resemble Carol, I assume).

I just read that issue as well. I'm going through the JL of A series now. Up to issue 121.
Honestly I noticed that GL and Superman usually save the day. Even.in the Silver age Hal usually saved the rest of the team. Maybe because they are the two most powrefill members. I think that Gardner Fox personally liked Hal.
Its cool to see them.become friends over it too.

There is a TON of Carl Ferris drama in the Wolfman run if you want to check it out.
And he comes up again in.Englehearts GLC run.

As a kid just watching Superfriends, it was clear to me that Hal was the second most powerful member of the team.
I recall an old GL cover where Hal declared that he was the most powerful man (human) on Earth. I honestly think that was truth (with Kal being an alien).

Yeah, I'm gonna check Englehart's GLC out.
In the back of my mind, I think a writer could pull off some sort of Carl Ferris/Durlan connection which could tie into Carol's ties to Zamaron.
Perhaps the Ferris clan have always been under the microscope of aliens, with Hal investigating.

Hal with no mask...so strange.
Who in the heck is the person with the volcano neck?!

That's Volk:

He's been around a bunch in "The Green Lantern" series. I'm guessing you haven't been reading that? ;)
From the eye-symbol, I'm guessing that's Jessica in the front, but I wonder why she needs a breathing apparatus when Hal and John(?) don't. Maybe in this reality she has asthma instead of anxiety?
That actually seems more like Guy than Hal to me. And I'm thinking that could be Simon in the background rather than John.
