Kansas City Chiefs at Jacksonville Jaguars (+3.5, 52) Chefs cover on the road, seems like it should be larger.
Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins (+7, 37.5) Baltimore is a sleeper to go to the AFCCG imo. Ravens cover the TD+ easily.
Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Chargers (-6.5, 44.5) COLTS, Chargers aren't as tough as one might think. Phillip Rivers better watch his ass.
Houston Texans at New Orleans Saints (-7, 52.5) Aint's roll
Week 1, 3-1. Aint's did not roll, won but did not crush Houston at home. Colts lost by a TD so the hook saved me, usually works the other way don't it (kinda like that Chappelle Cosby joke).
Week 2 lines from SI.com
Panthers (-5) vs. Buccaneers CAM
Chargers (-2.5) at Lions Supercharger. Patricia is a lost cause, here's hopin'.
Patriots (-14.5) at Dolphins Largest road spread in last 10 years I'm reading. Normally I'd pick the Dolphins to keep it no greater than 13 points but not this Miami team which looks to be historically bad. Patriots cover the huge line.
49ers (-1.5) at Bengals Not sure how 9ers are favored considering it was so close in Seattle but I'll take Cinci.

Eagles over Falcons- Eagles go 2-0
I'm not so sure about this. I'd love for the Birds to go 2-0, but the game's in Atlanta, and they've been bad in domes, going 1-8 since 2011, the lone win being against New England in Super Bowl LII. We'll see.

ATL is weak were PHI is strong this year.
I see Eagles winning by a FG given their history.

It's been a long time since the Broncos started September without a win, I believe it was the 1999-2000 season which was the first without John Elway. But they look to be headed to at least an 0-3 start so the threat is real this year.

Bang bang.
No fan of Brown, Steelers or Pats, a trilogy of assholes if you ask me but... this woman's account, on the surface seems... incomplete? There is at least 1 re-pass going on here amiright? Not putting it past him by any means and still... wait and see.
NFL has a merch issue with this don't they? Cause that's a big part of the business too, brand new Antonio Brown Pats jersey's that need to move- hopefully that move better and see the field, any field, unlike than the Oakland ones. Just 1 player but at the same time when one of their guys hits the major news outlets over conduct that's never cool. Specially when you're pushing miniskirts with NFL teams on them.
Like I said before the steelers were right to rid themselves of antonio brown.
Bada bada bing!

Brown is the type I'd look for to commit such an act - someone who is almost never told no, and with enough talent to find someone to tell him otherwise in the rare event someone actually does.
That said, I'm going to wait and see how this plays out - a single accuser is "he said, she said" situation, unfortunately. When more comes out, or accusations start to pile up, I'll reassess.

The point they are making to you is that you have a man that was acquitted on a technicality as the current QB of PITT in regards to rape. The person also has a sexual harassment lawsuit settlement against him, a sexual assault and battery case with a settlement against, and a now removed restraining order from a porn star.
Then you have a man accused of rape currently that is a former WR PITT player, with little to no details known at the time I am posting this. The only know fact is that the accuser has not filed police complaints related to any of the cases and released an email chain from Brown.
Those that are saying you can't have opinion are merely stating the fact that the QB with the worse problems and actual settlements against is not being thrown under the bus in your statements, just the WR. It's a bit tone deaf.
... and I really would rather talk about football in this thread.

No, Brown dumped you all, In the middle of a game if I remember right. He wasn't waived, If Brown had continued to put up with Ben's shit he'd still be there.

Dude nobody even said that. You can and prolly should have a Brown take, I'm here for it. That's said your take doesn't absolve me or anybody else of goofing on you for it.
So, *ahem*, do we think there are any provisions in Roger Goddell's official: QB rape cover-up kit, entitled 'the Ben, Big file' for wide receivers. He needs to crack it and dispatch the goons to New England real quick.

Well, there are no police reports, so it is really murky for the NFL now.
Whatever they do, will set precedence going forward.
They only thing mentioned has been AB might be put on the exempt list.
At the risk of pointing fingers, you have T. Hill that plead guilty to assaulting his pregnant girlfriend, breaking his son's arm, the police take the kid away from him and file protective custody for the mom … and he doesn’t miss a game, right? That was a situation where we know there was an abused pregnant woman and an abused child.
But they’re going to make AB miss game(s) because of a civil suit that was just filed, with no priors, and no criminal charges?
Hmm ...

There's a report on SI.com saying Goodell is considering putting Antonio Brown on the exempt list. But I think that would be a bit premature when Brown has apparently said that this is an extortion attempt after he refused a business deal.
That may turn out to be bullshit, but it if turned out to be true, the NFL would be fucked for scapegoating a guy who was innocent.
-
And now a brief interlude from AB onto football...
My predictions for the season are so out of whack at this point, maybe week to week it will work out better:
Panthers over Buccaneers
Ravens over Cardinals
Cowboys over Redskins
Colts over Titans
Seahawks over Steelers
Bills over Giants
49ers over Bengals
Chargers over Lions
Vikings over Packers
Texans over Jaguars
Patriots over Dolphins
Chiefs over Raiders
Saints over Rams
Broncos over Bears
Falcons over Eagles
Browns over Jets
For anything that seems odd in there, my explanation is that I'm still expecting some givens to not be givens. The season hasn't settled in yet.

The text messages don't look good, but at the same time while revealing him to be an uneducated mean-spirited fool, nothing in them confirms a non-consensual act just yet.

The NFLPA would step in quick if Goodell handed down punishment to a player who isn't even being investigated yet , let alone guilty.
The NFL had to let police do their 2 investigations into Hill. Both didn't have evidence to proceed. So the NFL had no choice but not suspend Hill...unlike what we saw with Kareem Hunt.
So the league and Goodell have to wait n see where this goes.

Don't forget, AB is also in hot water for the racial slur and threatening to punch Mayock in the face. He can be suspended or fined for both. But it is the Patriots, so I'm sure it will all be swept under the rug like it always is.
