I'm interested, but Yu is a disappointing choice. Not that he's a bad artist, but it's a very safe choice. Too safe. He's done so many events at Marvel that he doesn't really excite me anymore.

When Yu is great, he's great. When he's rushed or struggling it looks like cave paintings.
I'm happy to have him bc it gives me fond memories of the crazy-ass Revolution/Counter-X era, which is what first brought me back full time after many years. It was admittedly a total mess but it was fun and creative. But I do agree he's done too many events. tbh I would kill to have Adam Kubert back. I adore him.

I agree... I don´t like Yu either

It has all the ingredients needed to be good. Hickman, Cyclops, rotating cast, the fact that it will be where we'll see most of the story related to Krakoa itself. I'm honestly very anxious for this book to come. I hope Yu delivers something better than in the past few years. It's a pipe dream to want him to draw like he did in Hama's Wolverine or X-Men in the 90s, but I hope he does better here. And that they replace him with someone good in the next arc. I'd have gone for Juanan Ramírez or Greg Smallwood for the first arc, but I guess they're busy and, even if they weren't, Marvel would want one of their household names here.

Nice to hear Lorna will get some air time here if true along with Mags. Looking forward to this book very much.

oh wow, those two covers are fantastic. I love that Jean is back in her X-Factor uniform she looks great there. Those two covers are amazing though. Magneto is taking the nukes from those submarines I wonder if a nation attacks Krakoa with subs in the first issue.

lol, quick poll!
Does Magneto have enough pouches on his uniform?
Haha, I saw how many he has and was wondering what he puts in all those pouches, maybe pieces of metal to use as weapons.

He put nails in them during the Bendis/Bunn solo era.

I guess that makes sense since it's his only quick ammunition if there isn't any metal nearby. Ok, I guess it's ok for him to have 10 pouches of nails. Haha, he has to be careful sitting though, wouldn't want those nails poking through the spandex.

He did some nasty stuff with nails and paperclips during his solo. That cover is amazing btw. Checchetto is great.

He definitely needs more.
