The ORIGINAL (Golden Age) Black Cat <from Harvey Comics> Appreciation
Nearly 40 years before Felicia Hardy first appeared in the pages of Marvel Comics' The Amazing Spider-Man as "Black Cat", the character of movie star Linda Turner first appeared in comic books published by Harvey Comics using that identity.

First appearance: Pocket Comics #1 (August 1941)
NOTE: As the name "Pocket Comics" may suggest, it was actually a smaller-sized magazine than your typical comic book of the time.

Pocket Comics lasted for four issues. After that, Black Cat's origin story from Pocket Comics #1 was reformatted and reprinted in Speed Comics #17, then a new adventure of the Black Cat appeared in Speed Comics #18. In 1946 she earned her own self-titled comic book series.
Along the way, the Black Cat's costume went from a blue top with a red bottom to an all-blue (black?) outfit. And among the various artists that drew her adventures was Lee Elias.
