Giving me Bill Sienkiewicz art style and I’m loving it I’m so glad to see magma back in action (the most forgotten new mutant Not by choice) I wonder how her powers interact with Karoka what’s she been up to and why she isn’t hanging with then rest of the new mutants

Super happy to see finally Magma. And the cover is signed by Rod Reis
-
I hope she gets her bf back.

I hope you mean the one that was eaten by the volcano on M-Day and not the creeper who's likely manipulating little kids to set up hidden cameras in the Sextant's girls rooms for his jollys.

I hope it's the one currently imprisoned in a Las Vegas hotel prison

Happy to see Magma back ! The cover looks great but the story artist isn't Rod Reis... bummer...

Love seeing Magma. I kind of hoped we'd see her in Marauders, thought. I think that book has more potential to give her a decent role than New Mutants, where she'll just be another former member sharing panel time with Glob.

There we go folks, the most prolific missing New Mutant. I wonder if she'll stick around with Sam, Berto, Yana & Doug seemingly off the book (at least temporarily). Furthermore, I wonder just how long this book can last without Hickman, Reis and some of the most popular New Mutants. Mind you, the film release will probably bump sales anyways.

Doug appears in the cover of issue 9 though.

Is this correct? because New Mutants vol 1 has already covered issue 1,2, 5, 7 so there seems to be an overlap.

New Mutants vol 2

Deep in Shi'Ar space, the NEW MUTANTS have found themselves dead in the middle of an intergalactic power struggle. They're probably equipped to handle that, right? And back on Earth, the young mutants of Krakoa look forward to the future...whatever it may hold.
COLLECTING: NEW MUTANTS (2019) 7-12

It's probably gonna be New Mutants #3, #4, #6, #8-12.
By they way, New Mutants Omnibus Vol 1 (along with Excalibur by CC/ Davis Omnibus) will be released later this year! <3

YES! I'm so glad to see Magma make a comeback. She really is one of the forgotten New Mutants (despite being one of the most recognisable members). I hope Amara is going to be sticking around. And if this is her protecting the Brazilian gates, then that could be a nice, personal storyline for her.

The top 8 most popular New Mutants so far in descending order
1. Magik
2. Dani
3. Sunspot
4. Cannonball
5. Karma
6. Rictor
7. Cypher
8. Wolfsbane
Rictor is the only one who made it out of the original New Mutants. Anybody surprised?

I guess it depends what your definition of "made it" is? Magik was a full time X-Man, Sunspot and Cannonball were Avengers (and Sam an X-Man), Wolfsbane was in X-Factor and "dark era" X-Force. If you mean "DOX" made it, then I'd say give it time. We know that Dani, Rahne, and Yana all appear on a future cover of X-Men, so chances are we'll see a lot of character swapping.

So Many questions!
Who generated this list?
How are Karma & Cypher more popular that Rahne?
How is Rictor on here and not Boom Boom? (secretly I do not count them among New Mutant membership, but that is another debate)
Where are Warlock & Magma?
EDIT: NVM, it is based on this thread's poll results...I will see myself out now :p
