Victor von Doom is still the highest ranked villain.
Storm is still the highest ranked female character.
After CBR got bought I stopped going to the front page or any page, other than the forums. I got completely bogged down with ads. Not to mention, the content became ... more about clicks than articles and news I was interested in. Before CBR got bought, the articles actually got threads on the forums, which prompted many a good conversation as well as kept folks informed.
Front page is either bait articles or bad takes. I only read the Cronin articles.

Upset that Sue is so low, but then again I didn’t vote. I wonder how many voted.

Cronin usually notes how many votes the character got and how many 1st place votes. You may have to go through the Brian Cronin tag to find the correct post.

The above only gives the amount of votes for the top three though.
Edited to add that there is a separate article for 4-6:

And 7-10:

...annoyed at the obvious click grab from separating these. :(
*sigh*

Had no idea there was even a poll going on but glad to see Namor make the list!

I didn't know about this, either, would have loved to have voted for it. :(
-
The poll was mentioned a couple of times of the front page, you had to email your choices.
The trouble is that the click bait articles proliferate very quickly and push Brian Cronin's regular columns off the page. I liked the old front page design which kept some columns in a separate section and daily news didn't push it off the page.
I'm always shocked at so many of the characters that are about the Sub-Mariner. Then in the same breath, I'm shocked poor Namor makes the list at all.
Once a week i go to CBR and search for his name and get a list of everything he's done that week. Its literally the only stuff worth reading on the site.
I had Namor at my number one spot.

I'm sure Cronin probably said somewhere in those posts. But you can check out exactly how many points and first place votes she got.

Me either. I just don't think our favorite characters got as many votes as they probably did in the last vote, four years ago. Namor got 5 first place votes. He probably would have gotten another 5 at least, had the poll been announced in the Appreciation Thread, which would have given him 50 more points. Which is why I said, since Namor was in about the same place in the poll previously, he did pretty good, all things considered.

Thank you! I agree 200%!
Woo, thanks to Hank and Janet squeaking in at 41 and 49, all of the founding Avengers made it! (I was afraid Hank & Jan wouldn't make it at all.)
Not seeing Johnny Storm, so it looks like the founding FF members did not all make the cut... :(
You are looking at the 2015 poll. the 2019 poll is the first post

surprising how high carol is despite CWII and a okayish movie

Can someone do a CBR forum poll

Huh hand no idea there was a poll....?
-
1. Dang, Captain America beating Wolverine is pretty surprising.
2. Magneto beating all the X-Men besides Wolverine? Woah.
3. Kitty didn't do too bad but she's lower than the 2015 poll. I'm sure this is due to some of her more controversial iterations in recent years.
4. Marvel would be pissed if they saw Carol at only 23.
5. Laura (X-23) didn't even make the 2015 poll, but got #38 on here. Really glad to see that. She's been one of the standout characters for this decade.
6. Also cool to see Spider-Gwen make it.

Who brought CBR and when? I always felt like it started becoming more commercialized in recent years. I used to really enjoy Brian's articles, but now you can only really see them if you search up CSBG on google.
