...right off the roof of a building.
Too soon?
Eh, she's more or less fine.
-Pav, who liked the spin on Dusk's powers in the recent Scarlet Spider series...
I went to list Bishop, Magik & Polaris, but they're probably just high-profile enough to be considered mainstream. I'd love them to continue to get exposure to the point of being apart of the X-Men core though.
X-Men: Banshee & Sunfire
New Mutants: Cannonball, Sunspot & Dani Moonstar
New X-Men: Hellion, Pixie, Dust, Rockslide, Elixir, Mercury & Loa
Gen X: Chamber & Synch
Other: Blink, Daken, Hindsight, Frenzy, Pyro
OG Cable. Though I guess a case can be made that he’s mainstream now that he’s appeared in a movie.
I’d tell you but you’ve probably never heard of them.

My list is similar swap Banshee out with Siryn and add Anole, Boomer, M and Warpath. Your list is nearly perfect of characters who should have a slightly higher profile than they should. I think Magik and Sunspot are very close to becoming essential characters to X-men franchise and with the right storytelling they should become like Cyclops,Wolverines and Storms in the franchise.
Hellion, Indra, Neal Shaara., Dust, Sunspot, Magma and Outback Dazzler

You've got good taste then :)
I have totally lost interest in X-men A-list characters.
I miss mostly guys from New Mutants, X-Factor Investigations and New X-Men Academy:
Wolfsbane
Karma
Cypher
Madrox
Butterfly
Monet
Shatterstar
Hellion
Mercury
Blindfold
Pixie
Cecelia Reyes is in my top 10 favorite X-men, I thoroughly enjoyed her first run on the book albeit as short as it was. But I've liked all of her appearances.
Marrow, Monet, Blink and as well for sure.
I'm not sure if Polaris, Havok and Moonstar counts or not or if they're considered mainstream. Sorry if this has been covered before in the thread but my idea of main stream is: the 90's and blue gold teams, as well as Kitty, Nightcrawler, Emma, X-23, Havok, Polaris, Cable, Domino, and Magik and the original 5 new mutants, and Jubilee (but only because of the cartoon). And Deadpool now (sigh). But it could be less than that, and Moonstar and Polaris and Havok wouldn't be "A" list.
Heh. It's funny I just realized out of all of my choices Havok is the only guy. X-Men are so much more interesting in general.
Magik!

Hmmm.. Not including any of the 05, Giant Sized X-men, or Polaris and Havok:
1) Trevor Fitzoy
2) Hellion
3) Anole
4) Electric Eve
5) Icarus
6) Fenris Twins
7) Phantasia
8) Dragoness
9) Fatale
10) Rusty Collins

Dear LORD what is the matter with her spine? And where did her ribs go?
Tangerine, and Paulie Provenzano aka Omertŕ, Uncanny X-men 392. I felt like Paulie was closeted and I enjoyed his interactions with Jean Grey. I would like to see more of him with Northstar. Uncanny 392 was the issue I used when I was outed to my then 11 and 8 year old sons to help them understand that gay men are the same as everyone else. They had both looked up to Northstar prior to that and did not know he was gay - they just thought him cool. That issue has always held a special place in my heart. Tangerine I found interesting. I would have liked to have seen more of her.
