What are the Fire Birds like?
The modern ones seen today look like a bird with red, black, white and turquoise coloring. Small birds, sometimes almost parrot-like in shape.

Ok. I'm familiar with Thunderbirds. Perhaps there could be a hero inspired by those

The flip side could be a villain based on the Raven Mocker, of Cherokee lore.
The Raven Mocker, or Kâ'lanű Ahkyeli'skď, is an evil spirit and the most feared of Cherokee witches. According to Cherokee mythology it robs the sick and dying of their heart. Normally appearing as old, withered men and women, or turning completely invisible except to certain medicine men, they take to the air in a fiery shape, with the sounds of a raven's cry and a strong wind as they hunt for their next victim. After tormenting and killing their victim by slitting the victim's head they consume his heart (doing so without leaving a mark on the victim's skin), and add a year to their life for every year that the slain would have still lived. The sound of a raven mocker means that someone in the area will soon die.
Using it's the Native girl with a white boyfriend going against native customs are the recurring nonsense as if native American couples don't exist or that not all native customs are bad.

Even if they do give her a white boyfriend (which we don't know they will do), that doesn't mean other Native Americans won't show up.

I mean, it's not like White people didn't ban interracial relationships for hundreds of years in the USA themselves.
Anyway, I don't think having an interracial couple is a bad idea, since there seem to be so few in Marvel, but neither is having an all Native American couple either. Ideally there'd be enough Native American heroes for both

Cool thread! Think it’s pretty some to see some of them being brought into the MCU! I wonder if Marvel will change Namor to have Indigenous influence in the comics since in the MCU he’ll be of Mayan descent and played by Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta

She's going to end up in the comics as a time displaced hero, isn't she? Considering this story is What if the Tesseract landed in what is now New York before New York existed, i.e. hundreds of years ago.
I'm surprised that Wyatt Wingfoot's name hasn't come up here. He was not an official member of the Fantastic Four but I remember the first time he helped them out was in the Black Panther's first appearance.
