All-Star Squadron was the first series I ever collected. I became obsessed with Earth-2 after reading a reprint of JLA 100 in 1981. All-Star started not long after and I remember discovering the first issue at my local newsagents.
Issues 17-40 are the highlight for me - the trail of Robotman, the Brain Wave story, The Ultra-Humanite epic, Dr Fate vs the Spectre, Earth-X, Captain Marvel and Amazing Man vs the Klan. Just am amazing run of stories.
. . . I became obsessed with Earth-2 after reading a reprint of JLA 100 in 1981. . .
Justice League of America #101 (the second part of that three-issue tale) was my introduction to Earth-2, and I know the feeling.
(Bought that issue new off a comic book spinner rack at a drugstore in Maine for my sister while she was working a summer job at a Girl Scout camp and I was amazed by all those Golden Age heroes in the story when I read it!)
