just interesting that it already had a set premiere for this summer and ended up being pushed to the end of the slate

I wouldn't be surprised if it just required more production time, considering it's got the JSA, STRIPES, and Stargirl herself, that's a lot of FX and costumed types to have to pull off on whatever budget they have.
Lea Thompson(Back to the Future Movies) directs an episode of STARGIRL.

Warner should call their new streaming service HBO+ (or some other variation on HBO), because I think the mainstream audience know the HBO name better than anything else they could call it. Warner itself doesn't have a distinct identity like Disney. And it would make it clear to people who already have HBO that they would be getting all the extra stuff as an add-on to their existing service.
I already get confused with 'HBO Now' and 'HBO Go'.
Well, they're calling HBO Max, so I wasn't far wrong, was I?

I'm fine with them folding in DC Universe if it doesn't interfere with original programming or, especially, the comic book library. But I'm very concerned it will likely mean the end of both, with the possible exceptions of Doom Patrol, Titans, and/or Young Justice. If this torpedoes Stargirl (and the JSA) I'll be heartbroken.
They said DC Universe will remain.

Great news, thanks. Would be great to see a link if you have one.

Thanks! Hope it lasts. I'm addicted to the comic library.
Intriguing.
The big question from me is will HBO max be coming to the UK/Europe ? Because as is Titans and Friends are on Uk Netflix. If it DOES come to Europe I dont think the actual Unuverse app will. If it doesnt then theres a chance it may.
I don't think either service will come to the UK. They wouldn't have signed that Netflix deal if they had plans.

Star Trek: Discovery has much more brand recognition than Swamp Thing. It can afford a high budget because of DVD sales.
Swamp Thing likely wouldn't sell half as much in DVD as Discovery.
That’s one of those fake you tubers with the text-to-speech voice.
I try not to click on those to avoid my feed from cluttering up with fake propaganda videos.
It also has ‘Discovery is a Failure!’ plastered on the video’s thumbnail. Another dead giveaway.
I recently saw another proclaiming that Last Jedi was ‘a Failure!’
