HindSight from the Bendis X-Men
Huh? He's from Generation X.

You're probably thinking of Morph, who got his codename on Generation X but did debut in Bendis's run.
Other mutant teleporters include Silhouette, Portal, Lighttrakker, U-Go Girl, Katie Sawyer and Jolt (Kyi).
Silhouette has no association with the X-Men though. She's actually appeared since the Krakoa era started... in Ironheart.

Other than being mutants and teleporters none of the 4 have any association with the X-Men that i'm aware of.

I'm talking publication time, not in universe.
I actually would love to see a team of teleporters in a story
Magik
Manifold
Blink
Nightcrawler
Lila Cheney
Vanisher
Marvel make it happen!
I personally dig it when previously non-X-book mutants join the fold.

I hope they show how these characters were recruited because last I knew Manifold was in Wakanda with Black Panther. So it would be interesting to see how Brand approached Eden and what sales pitch she used. Because he has never had any association or interaction in the X-men in his entire history. Very curious as to why he left Wakanda, and I thought he had something going on with Shuri.

I mean he's a teleporter lol not like he can't pop back to Wakanda anytime he feels like it. But yeah really want to know how these characters were recruited can't believe Manifold hasn't had any interaction with the X-Men
The explanation is above the picture. It has also been covered in the discussion.
I too am irregularly sensitive (irrationally so?) to character hair alterations.
This isn't one of those cases, but I empathize.

What is there to understand?
He wasn't born with locs. No one is. Superficially, locs are just a hair style/treatment. (
He just went back to natural hair texture.
Is it that characters aren't allowed to change their hair?
He just went back to natural hair texture.
Wym? Dreadlocks are mostly worn by people with natural hair
Is it that characters aren't allowed to change their hair?
They obviously can, just as folks can share their opinion on it.

Locs are formed when you either manually lock the strands using an locking agent (like bees wax) or when you allow it to free-form (by not combing and separate the strands).
It's a natural hair Style but it's not a naturally occurring hair texture.
Manifold's natural hair texture going by Ewing and Schiti's research and image, is loose soft curls indicative of his Aborigine ethnicity.
and FYI...while it's usually worn by Black people, locs can be worn by every race...ie it's not a Black hair-style.

But now people accuse you of cultural appropriation...
