That line has long been exposed as a bigger fraud than what they are trying to convince us of. Every attempt to find massive voter fraud comes back with a number that can be counted on one's hands, and with no real bias in partisan leanings. Trump is actually being honest for a brief moment when he says "If everyone could easily vote, Republicans would never win again."
There are two different arguments. One is whether voter fraud is currently a problem. The other is whether it could become a problem in the future.
Democrats were pretty eager to have online voting until they realized in 2016 that it could be hacked. There are similar concerns with uniform mail-in voting.
Those policies are unpopular because the Democrats have let the GOP seize the political initiative and define the narrative around these and many other issues for the last several decades, and have been too weak to take principled stances on them because they're afraid of alienating those precious Midwestern swing voters. It's pretty clear that Biden will not do anything to prioritize issues important to minorities or women because they're considered toxic to mainstream white America, and everybody basically knows that already. But if he's not going to push for social reform, and he's not going to push for economic reform, what is he actually going to do?
Politicians don't get to determine what policies are popular. Many times, they'll have to follow the lead of the voters, or suffer severe electoral consequences.
What kind of policies should Biden prioritize that are important to woman and minorities?
Typically, there is no details as to how to pay for any of this. As always it will be by raising taxes and taking money out of American's pockets, because Dem truly believe it is "fairer" for the government to spend money rather than the people who actually work to earn it. Also colleges will LOVE student debt forgiveness. They'll raise tuition rates even faster and higher than they have been, knowing it will be paid for. Funny how the Dems never ask the colleges WHY do they raise tuition so frequently? Where is this tuition money going?
With Medicare spending increasing as people live longer and use expensive resources, it doesn't seem to be a good time to lower the Medicare age.
This has to be managed very carefully. Otherwise, it's a transfer of wealth from younger people to older people, which is counterproductive, as older people are wealthier on average (they have been able to accumulate wealth, they've been able to rise on the income ladder, they had employee benefits that were taken away from later generations as the costs became obvious) and younger people are better able to invest money in things that pay off in the future (job training, children, etc.)
Can we get a poll of how many Americans know who their congressmen is? It’s a deeply stupid country
That's a bit harsh. A lot of people can be ignorant about important facets of the government.
I was looking through some older comments in these political threads, and I'm not going to name names, but several people here were under the deeply flawed assumption that medicare spending could be part of five percent of the federal budget reserved for healthcare according to a meme.
Actually they are unpopular because there are still enough people in the country who believe in the Rule of Law, and that people who violate it, as do illegal aliens when they enter the country, should not be rewarded for doing so. America loves immigrants, LEGAL immigrants. Is it too much to ask to follow our laws to enter our country?
Being an immigrant who has waited in line and followed all the rules, no matter how arbitrary or demeaning, and still been told to go back to my country more times than I can count by "real" Americans, I'm gonna have to call bullshit on that one.

The US has over 46 million people living in it who weren't born in the US. If you were to list the countries with the most immigrants US would probably be more than the next 4-5 countries combined. For the flack the US gets in dealing with immigrants, it's home to roughly a fifth of the immigrants on the planet. That says something.

We didn't bring in all those immigrants because we love cultural diversity so much, we brought them in to plug gaps in our labor force, both high and low skilled, that our native population isn't able to, and has NEVER been able to, properly fill.

Things of course can always change between now and in the future but it isn’t look too good for Trump’s chances to get re-elected right now.

Of course, it would help if the laws were followed (or at least not enforced in an arbitrary and capricious manner) by those who are supposed to enforce them. ICE has repeatedly lied in order to deport, deported people hours before court hearings, deported legal immigrants over decades old misdemeanors, and counted being stopped in cases of mistaken identity as 'encounters with law enforcement' in order to deport (again for lawful permanent residents). Plus the notion that 'illegal immigrants aren't protected by the constitution' has resulted in citizens held without recourse for months or even years as the due process which would normally result in them being released being denied instead.
Additionally people forget that asylum seekers aren't required to enter via checkpoints - but that as part of applying for asylum they turn themselves in. And (at least until Trump decided we needed more private prisons) they were turning up for their court hearings at over a 99% rate.
We need someone to enforce border laws, but I am convinced ICE is not it. They have become an organization drunk on power and need a thorough house cleaning at the very least, and outright replacement with a completely new staff at the worst.
And the notion that anyone in this administration likes even legal immigrants is laughable. Much of the policy comes from a guy who had thousands of emails reviewed with the conclusion of 'we can find no examples of him speaking of anyone non-white or foreign-born in positive or even neutral terms.' Which makes Miller a text book example of a racist.

November is a long ways away. Plenty of time for him to either rally or dig himself into a deeper hole.
If anything can take down Trump, it's the current crisis. That said... time and time again he's managed to weather every storm that he's been hit with, so you can never count this guy out.

Also kinda assumes that it's a one way street with Trump having nothing but bad days and Biden having nothing but good days.
With the way Biden has sounded recently, I wouldn't put the whole box of jellybeans on that being how it plays out.
That said, Trump stands the best chance of beating Trump by a long shot.

At this point Trump is basically in the election against the Coronovirus. Biden just happens to be there.

It is literally progress, that makes those policies progressive.

The fact that there are democratic governors in a number of states that weren't there in 2016 is a huge boon to Biden as well. It's not to be underestimated.
