My favorite is Jessica Cruz. The chronic anxiety thematically ties her to the mantle in a way none of the other Lanterns are. She's also a really engaging character who's human first and superhuman second. When will we get a theatrical movie?

For a potential movie, If they went for the space opera trio dynamic I'd go with:
Hal Jordan (Han Solo (obvious cocky Space Pilot) - Jessica Cruz (Leia Organa) - John Stewart (Luke Skywalker) / Yes John is my Luke analogue, as originally conceived he's the young creative hopeful one, whose going to change the nature of the power and by doing so those around him. That's John, I know they gave that arc to Kyle, but it was John's, I hate the boring, square (Hal wannabe) military grunt they turned John into on the cartoon)
Or if you prefer their modern analogues:
Hal(Poe) - Jessica(Rey) John(Finn) (again the one with the actual most interesting arc who charts his own course, (not a rehash), sadly they lost sight of, and dropped the ball with him in the next film, and the last.)

Another forgotten favorite is the short sad carer of Wilfredo Mendoza, Self proclaimed GL of the DKSA Universe.
Went down fighting! ;)

I'm deeply offended Alan Scott isn't present. Perhaps we should change the title to "favorite member of the Green Lantern Corps"?
In any case, Guy Gardner. Dave Gibbons and later Pete Tomasi convinced me Guy is the greatest Green Lantern.

I voted Guy too. I'm surprised how few votes both he and Kyle have gotten!! (They're my top 2!)
Chuck Dixon started it, but Beau Smith was the writer who really cemented Guy as a favourite.
I also really loved how Judd Winick and Geoff Johns handled the character too.

Hal's my favorite DC character...period but Alan Scott is my third favorite DC character, he should have made the list.
I debated on whether or not to include him, but I chose not to because he's not an actual GL from the Corps.
Actually looking at the responses Alan might have come in 2nd place.

Interesting that Simon hasn't gotten a vote yet.

More interesting that Jessica actually has, I'd have thought it'd be different the way these boards are at time.

Alan then Jessica but since Alan isn't on the poll, voted for Jessica
-
Mogo has more votes than Simon.
-
Hal Jordan. Although I also really like Jessica and Guy can be great with the right writer.

You chose poorly. Alan Scott is THE Green Lantern. The rest are knock-offs.
But of the knock-offs listed, I go with Kyle.

I'm not actually that surprised, Jessica seems to be this gen's John Stewart (e.g. the breakout Lantern character), something Simon never really managed.
