Second Chances - first choce

Anyone else give it a try? For those enjoying crime/detective based stories, here's a very promising new one. Black and white--a rarity these days--done well, richly textured drawing. Lead character creates situations to allow deserving others 'a second chance' in life, by destroying the old 'life' and creating a new one. Until, as the story opens, a case goes bad. Two issues in, well-told, believable within its own world, and interesting. Glad I chanced buying it; glad to recommend it. [ATTACH=CONFIG]115320[/ATTACH]

Looks interesting. First I have seen of it. I am way behind on reading what I am already picking up though, so I will look for it when it hits the trade.

I have the first two issues and they were okay to read.

I was honestly expecting something a little different when I picked it up—not going to elaborate on that one. However, for what it is, it's been a good read so far. It's set in a kind of goofy spoof version of Sin-City (whereas Sin-City is a dark, gritty place), where the main character is caught up in a situation that was more than he bargained for. It's a little over the top without being too distracting, and it's been a pleasant read. Definitely a recommend from me as well.
