The Rapture continues. Paul Kantner, founder of Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship (back in their cool days before they became basically a commercial jingles band) is dead from complications of a heart attack.
2016 has not been kind to rock & roll.

An incredible musician - who used to play with John Coltrane and had links with the AACM, Phil Corhan and Sun Ra. And such a great leader... Earth, Wind & Fire was an amazing band, with a stunning musical complexity. Their hits are the trees which hide the forest. And that forest is magnificent. A very sad news... 74 is so young...
RIP Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia, who will be remembered for his accomplishments.
Scalia's body has barely begun to get cold and the Congress and the POTUS have already started to bicker about their own choice of a new SCOTUS judge
His accomplishments being some of the most regressive decisions in court history and install G W Bush as President.
