I wouldn't be surprised if there was a mention about the dead family thing. Just a quick line. Too long ago to focus on.
You think Jean will do anything cool in this issue?
I don't know. Maybe being a good mom and buying a present for her son Cable?
she will use the totality of her omega might to make sure everyone is able to directly comunicate or exchange messages free of charge and regardless of individual mobile data plans, a great contribution to the overall budget of the mission not the mention the pace of the plot.
So no roaming charges or extraplanetary fees? Nice!

But not for Rachel? Lmao

I tore my eyes out and am now having to type this blind.
The X-Factor costumes are back. Nice! Brett Booth’s art looks very 90s, in the best way of course.
^This x100, albeit in the worst ways.
It's too much. Actually hurts my eyes.

They should have taken Vulcan along, that would have caused great interaction with Deathbird (who is/was pregnant of him) and the Imperial Guard, who used to sere him, but also hate him.
Anyways, that was probably to much to handle, so will just be ignored.
If Sunspot gets indeed the throne, it will be temporary till they find Xandra back.

With this we conclude Jean is demoted to being a Cuckoo.

Everything that's happened so far in Dawn and Reign Of X is actually a telepathic battle between Jean and Professor X (who she knows is really the Maker) that started on that page in HoX one where he is blatantly mind-controlling her to smile in the presence of children.

Now I get why she had tears in her eyes: It was the agony of being mind-controled by him

More Xandra is good. I liked her chemistry with the New Mutants. And its about time she met her dad.

Last time I enjoyed something with X-Men/Shi'r was Vulcan but now I am kinda bored of this sh#%. It's been rehashed too many times and Hickman's run felt short with ideas during and after X of Swords. Just waiting for next month's vault issue.

Not feeling this art at all. Great example of slapping paint on featureless forms. colorist got his work cut out for him and hopefully he does his research. I find when the features are not defined in anyway thats usually when the colorist goes way to light on color.
-
I'm a sucker for the Shi'ar, so I'm excited for this. Makes me miss Lilandra though. :(
-
I’m excited for this issue though I am not a fan of the art or the artist. Hickman’s book is my fav along with X-force. Shi’ar stuff can be iffy but I’m eager to see what is being set up. I love the idea of Scott, Jean, and Ororo on a mission together.

Art is looking better than I thought it would. Must be the colorist.
I love that it looks dynamic and has movement.
Yu's art always seemed so static to me. IMO.
